Welcome to the team. I am sorry to hear of the recent loss of your mother.....

Please feel free to come here and post how you feel, how you are coping and what your plan is to gain control. and any obstacles you are having to getting back on track.

Another suggestion is to find a buddy and set up a daily email, where you email the buddy with your stats, how you are doing, what your glucose readings are, etc. Or come here and post them. We do have a daily discussion thread, but it does not get used very often. However, I get a notice every time someone posts there and I will be sure to answer as soon as I am able.....

Are you on a low carb meal plan, or the standard diabetic high carb meal plan? (I try to eat as low carb as I can without actually going "low carb")

emoticon We are here for you....

Hi, I was dx'ed in 2008 with Type II diabetes. I have kep good control until this year. I have started to eat more, almost like a food addict. Well not almost, how about a full blown food addiction. I lost my mother in a car accident alomost 9 weeks ago and it has been worse, gaining almost 10lbs since her death. Need support.
