Hi Ronnie! Welcome to the team! I look forward to reading your posts. We have a supportive group, and the Beck principles work. Take your time, just keep practicing them, and you will be surprised to see how your mindset changes. emoticon

On October 1st, Kriszta is starting a group reading of the Pink Book "The Beck Diet Solution train your brain to think like a thin person". If you don't have the book, you should get it, and read along with us and read our posts for each day as we go. It is a very helpful way to stay focused and you will really see the difference in your thinking by the end of the reading. Kriszta does a group reading twice a year, so this is good timing for you. We start with Day 1 (Chapter 5), so you could read the first 4 chapters before the group reading starts.

Goal weight:
58 +- 1 kg /// 128 +-2 pounds

Maintenance Lessons Learned:
-go on with the healthy lifestyle learned in weight loss phase
-just add healthy foods gradually to stop losing
-work out every day - 30-60 minutes is enough to maintain weight and good mood
-do not try to balance overeating by extreme workouts, it is not going to work
-avoid overeating, instead of satisfaction you get stronger cravings

Evening!

emoticon My name is Ronnie, and I found this group by via my teammate Trina (FountofBlessing). I am closer to my goal than Iíve ever been in a long time (28 pounds away) but somehow keep self sabotaging myself and end up losing/gaining the same ten pounds. I refuse to quit but know that Iím making the process harder than it needs to be. I do realize that there were lessons that I needed to learn.

Iím looking forward to learning the behaviors that will finally move me further along.
