Thu, 23 Feb 2012 13:29:28 EST Hi all Well, I am about to make the leap into getting some help with my motivation, I hope. I lost a lot of weight last year but now it is starting to creep back bit by bit. Not about to let that happen, so I'm bringing in the reinforcements, thats the sparkpeople unit, which means you guys. Hope to inspire and motivate all to reach their objectives in the course. Wed, 8 Feb 2012 17:42:51 EST Hello want to correspond Hi I am Theresaannie and new to Spark People... and would like to correspond to others to share interest in staying healthy and excerising. Tue, 31 Jan 2012 15:17:37 EST Using a clothes line to dry our Laundry I realize that not everybody can do this because of Apartment complex rules but its amazingly simple to hang up your clothes to dry outside if you live in warmer climates. It saves energy and money. Any way, I'd like to challenge any of you who live in the right climates to give it a try. I do ask for support of worthy causes. There are some in congress that believes that the US could save millions of dollars as well as get the unemployed back to work,if they abolish the EPA. I look forward to investigating and empowering myself with all of it. I joined the environmentalist page as I believe wholeheartedly in our mind, spirit and body health being a reflection of what we live. Treat our world well and live well. I am 35 and a returning full time student working toward a degree in Water Quality. I look forward to learning more about everyone here. We all make a d... We use refillable bottles, eat one meatless meal per week, only use reusable bags and take 4 minute showers. We have so much more to do.

Looking forward to sharing this with you and receiving tips and motivation as well. Sat, 7 Jan 2012 10:44:33 EST What are your eco goals for 2012? I'm sorta new, I have started Spark People a few times but seem to be more motivated now than ever before. I know that tracking what I eat is one of the most important things to do to lose so that's my main focus now - besides staying within my nutritional goals.

Glad to find this team and am looking forward to getting to know everyone!

Melody Tue, 3 Jan 2012 19:35:48 EST New Member Hi Everyone! I came across SP when googling something last week, and decided to join. I love the idea of tracking what I'm eating and how often I'm working out. Last month, I started running before work, because I train my horse in the evenings and it has been difficult to find time otherwise. I've already dropped 15 lbs in the past few months and am hoping to lose another 10 before next summer.

I'm interested in pursuing a vegan "diet" for a few weeks, because I know the impac... Thu, 29 Dec 2011 09:39:19 EST Hello-New-ish here... My name is Stephanie, I joined back in October, but kind of fell off the wagon before I even got started. I am currently trying to eat healthier and cut back on pop and sweets, getting ready to get back on the exercise bandwagon. I am married to a great guy for the last 13 years, and we have three terrific kids: two boys, ages 11 and 8, and a little girl, 3. I work a weird swing shift, so it is sometimes difficult for me to eat right and exercise when I want to, but I know I need to do bet... Fri, 2 Dec 2011 00:48:23 EST Newbie Hi everyone!
I am new here. I picked this site as I believe if we all do our bit for the environment we can make a difference. I live on a small outer Island in B.C Canada. I compost, recycle, do not use a clothes dryer or own a TV and either walk or cycle most places. Now if I could just be as committed when it comes to shedding those extra lbs!!! and so with the support of fellow sparkers I hope to achieve this. Sat, 19 Nov 2011 16:28:06 EST Hello I'm a new member My name is Tracy and I am from Ohio. I picked environmentalists because of my college degree in environmental technology. I love the outdoors even when it's cold. In the mornings you might find me taking the dog out for a short walk in the woods, with my robe and coffee cup and hunters cap w/light. Not a real pretty site in the morning but the wildlife doesn't mind. Thu, 17 Nov 2011 09:25:32 EST Whats new? Although this is not directly related to the environmentl, a lot of us are on Social Security. Please read my blog on what the government is trying to do to us.
