And for the first time in my life, I look forward to what I will feel like in 3-4 months. I feel like I can do this finally, never before did I feel that way. At two weeks out I was released from my blood pressure medication and my sugars leveled out... Then we went through my routine to make sure I was indeed lifting properly, and a-okay there. So basically I'm like superwoman on the weights. Anyhow, next week I graduate to the big girls gym (I'll miss my fat gym), but I'm excited to outlift some of the beefcake dude... Only 100 calories a muffin and 8 whoppin grams of fiber!! Make sure to get the light though. There's another whole grain one that says "only 100 calories" and "high fiber" on it, but it only has 5 grams instead of the 8 (although 5 grams ain't 1/2 bad either!) So say for example yesterday... I was 214 at home and 222 at their office in the afternoon. I came home and steped on my scale that night and was able to make mine say 222 as well. I read up that protien helps build new cells and helps your loose fat instead of muscle, so that's good.

So do you think I made a good choice today I was short on calories, so I mixed 8 oz of this and 8 oz of apple juice to see how it taste (preparing for after surgery) just to boost my protien and calories...
Sat, 5 May 2007 21:37:13 EST Bad Breakfast! Whole Grains

The high fiber and satiating properties of these foods (brown rice, kasha, dark bread, quinoa, whole-grain cereal) make them ideal for keeping your weight down. In fact, when Harvard researchers followed over 74,000 nurses ages 38 to 63 for 12 years, they found that those who ate more whole grains consistently weighed less than those who didn't. Tue, 27 Feb 2007 22:08:29 EST Workout Options http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=0x8807x5122185 So I've been doing the whole Curves routine, and sure, I dig the fact that it's only 45 minutes of my time. But it's mighty expensive ($29 a month). It's also the same routine. So today I called the YMCA, and asked about their financial assistance program. We qualify, so that means our family could get a membership for $38 a month. Sooooooo, 9 bucks more and the whole family is covered. Plus they offer daycare at $2.00 an hour for BOTH kids. Downside is of course I can't get it done in...
