Wed, 12 Dec 2012 11:54:57 EST Oily skin I'm wondering if anyone here has any tips for extremely oily skin. I currently wear estee lauder double wear foundation, and even that sort of long lasting formula doesn't last more than two hours on my t-zone area. In order to keep up with the oil production, I have to blot at least hourly, although every half hour would be better. I currently moisturize both day and night with a hydrating gel moisturizing, and I wash my face with Cetaphil twice daily. I am acne prone, but I find that topica... Tue, 27 Nov 2012 12:51:11 EST Hi everyone! I'm a 24 year old grad student with 75 pounds to lose to meet my goal. I love makeup, although I don't think I'm very good at applying it (yet!). I love to shop at Ulta, and browse at Sephora (I can't afford much at Sephora, but once I'm out of grad school and working you can bet where I'll be shopping!) Looking forward to learning makeup tips and tricks as well as gaining support from this community! Tue, 27 Nov 2012 11:01:50 EST Hi! Today is my first day. Can't wait to lose... Tue, 1 May 2012 20:28:28 EST late introduction Hi, I've been on SP since August, but this is my first post. I am a mother of 2 young boys and love to garden. I have lost 18 lbs and have 8 left to go. I just created new goals and one of them is to be more active on SP, which leads me to this post. I am lacking SP friends, so let me know if anyone is interested in friending me! Sat, 21 Apr 2012 08:03:22 EST Want a good tan! This may sound silly to some, but one of my biggest insecurities is my pale skin. A while back, I decided to go tanning and absolutely loved how it looked. My skin cleared up and I didn't even need makeup... and I just felt much more confident in a bikini and just overall. I always knew it was bad for me, so one day I decided I needed to stop tanning. It's been a long time now without a real tan. Do any of you know any good sunless tanners that really do give you a DARKER tan? I use some airb... Wed, 22 Feb 2012 10:14:36 EST Eyeliner question Hey everyone, I'm new. This looks like a really cool team, and I have a lot of beauty and makeup questions actually, so this looks like the place to go to on Spark. My question is about eyeliner, my eyes water everytime I wear it, and it's so annoying. Do they have eyeliner for sensitive eyes at all, or would just waterproof be the way to go? Mon, 20 Feb 2012 23:15:46 EST Hi Folks! I'm new here and I love makeup and beauty products! I've tried a lot of different brands (including independent ones) and I just like having fun with makeup and changing my look. I hope you are all doing well! 212 Mon, 20 Feb 2012 11:35:05 EST New makeup lover, YouTube and Haul oggler Hi Everyone, I'm not new to SP but new to this team. I'm in a phase of sort of rediscovering makeup. I've always loved to make up and dress fashionably. However, I've been retired for a couple years now (after retiring early), and sort of struggled to find my new style. I guess I am still wandering a bit! But I really enjoy YouTube makeup tutorials and reviews, and have recently been having loads of fun finding "haul" videos and seeing what people have bought or received for the holidays... Mon, 6 Feb 2012 21:49:03 EST ADD me if you can! I had to make my page private but would love it if any of you want to add me! I'm doing a "ladies only' page so we can be blunt...or rather *I* can be blunt. I'd hoped to post also some reviews of the myriad of 'beauty gadgets' I've indulged in! If I can add each one of you, don't think I'm stalking ya! Just trying to keep in contact with the GIRLS! :)) Wed, 25 Jan 2012 23:13:44 EST Your favorite eye liner for water line or inner? I am always on the look out for a good liner for my water line (or inner line). Some call it "tight lining". Currently I am using the Sephora waterproof kohl pencil and/or MAC Carbon eyeshadow. Those work very well, but I like to experiment. What's your favorite? Fri, 13 Jan 2012 15:00:39 EST Hi Everyone! :) My name is Niki, I'm 19 and I live in Kentucky with my husband and two little boys. I'm not really new to SparkPeople since I've been on here before but seeing as it's a new year and I'm starting over (and my old account is no longer active :P) I've made a new account. I'm hoping to lose 95 pounds by the end of this year which will bring me back down to my pre-pregnancy weight of 135 pounds. I'm a very open and fun person and I'm looking to make friends who have goals similar to mine. Sun, 1 Jan 2012 22:44:14 EST Back to Sparkpeople and I wanted to share... I read lot of reviews, but it still sound almost too good to be true. I can't stand sun lotions on my face, they make my skin look so shiny and unclear. Ever since I can remember I've had dark undereye circles. My father has them and so do I. People have told me to use soap around my eyes, get more sleep, put on special creams, use cucumbers. But, I've found that none of it works because that's just how my eyes are. I've tried many concealers but I've found that they always get in the creases under my eyes and look yucky-I'd rather just go with the raccoon look than the gunky make up look.
