What's your goal? Fri, 18 Jan 2013 07:01:27 EST I've been here before..... I joined Sparkpeople back in June 2011 and did great with the program. I lost weight, felt great, got my portions in control and stopped the emotional eating. I got down to 135, leaving 140-ville with my sites set on my goal of 125.
It wasn't Sparkpeople that eventually failed me, it was myself. If a tree falls in the forest and no one is there does it make any sound?

That's kinda what 140-ville is reminding me of. Is anyone out there?

I have been on and off sparkpeople (off since spring - sigh) and no surprise here I am still stuck in 140-ville. However, I am re-committing and really want to leave this place behind.

Post if you are out there other 140ers Tue, 16 Oct 2012 16:38:57 EST New team leaders needed! This poor team is just fading and we need some good leadership! I had hoped to return after having my baby, but almost 2 years later, 140-ville seems like a pipe dream to me. Plus, life with a toddler, a long commute, and a demanding job leaves me no time for Spark People. Who would like to take over? Let's get a few people added so that we can get things rolling around here, and I'll step down.
Thanks! Sat, 23 Jun 2012 09:47:00 EST A long time gone! So I'm logging onto SparkPeople again for the first time in a long time - but the last time I was on here I was hovering around the border of 130ville, and now I'm down to 127-130! I just wanted to give a belated thanks to everyone for your support, and keep working! It may take awhile, but you'll all be out of here too! =) Sat, 23 Jun 2012 05:02:46 EST New to 140ville Hello! My name is Kasey and for the past 5 years or so I have been trying to get to 140ville. I've visited briefly a few times but seeing as I've been here for over two weeks now I'm thinking I actually made it! But it's been tough to stay. Been in the upper 140s for most of June and have been teetering dangerously close to 150s again the past few days despite heavy work outs and am looking for support! Help! I am hoping it is just water and muscle gain, but my body feels so large lately that... Mon, 18 Jun 2012 12:50:21 EST Are there any fellow 140villers out there? I'm checking to see if anyone is still out there and wanting to leave 140ville. I'm working to move out of here and would love a whole bunch of sparkers to come too! Thu, 5 Apr 2012 08:28:10 EST Please welcome BettingOnAlice as new team leader! I'm still MIA... crazy with baby, work, and insane commute. So glad that we have a volunteer for a new team leader! I have struggled with weight loss since the birth of my first daughter, who is now 7. I just had a baby 6 weeks ago and am almost back to my pre-pregnancy weight of 140. I had a bit of a rough spot the beginning of this month, but now motivated again! I learned a lesson this month.....

Don't focus on the number on the scale!. I will tell you that focusing so much on my weight almost derailed me. I know I just need patience, but I'm feeling so discouraged . . .

I think I need to take a week of not doing daily weigh-ins and wait until Friday to check. That might help . . . Not an ounce (and believe me, every ounce counts lol).

I'm also a resident of Emotional Eaters town, Dorito-aholics-ville and omg-give-me-that-oreo-or-someone's-getting
-hurt city. I am trying to get healthy but have the hardest time recording everything I eat, I have tried to record everything a few times now and get tired quickly of either writing in a notebook or logging in nutrition part of SP.
