This is a place to check in for accountability. Did you stick to your plan? SparkPeople Intermittent Fasting Team Messageboard How are we handling Thanksgiving? Thursday is a normal fast day for me (I do a 5:2 plan). But, I am not fasting on Thanksgiving! I am being circumspect in my eating this week so far and then on TDay, we are going out for dinner. I will eat whatever I want, including dessert (if I have room). The good thing is there are no leftovers, my downfall, to contend with. Normally, we would eat out and also cook a small TDay dinner for home. We aren't doing the latter. Friday I fast! Wed, 27 Nov 2019 07:58:21 EST Truth or Fiction? I've lost a great deal of weight and I seem to be stuck. The scales goes up and down in the same 5 pounds range. Also dieting for almost 2 years now, I feel myself getting tired of weighing and measuring and watching what I eat, and right now I only have about 25 pounds to lose. So I want to try the IF plan and at the same time learn to eat food again. I would appreciate any help that is given. This particular video is LONG (need a time to sit and listen, or its one of those where you can get things done while listening --i gave it a listen while doing my walking) but this video's summary is really good. It pulls together in one place a lot of information about hormones and other benefits.

<img src=" Tue, 13 Aug 2019 19:56:14 EST Fasting and Type 2 Diabetes This is a controversial subject, especially with the common advice from nutritionists and doctors being against it.

I have seen a lot of success with it and got my A1C down from 8.4 to 5.4 in a couple months.
