I'm Laurie I'm starting the new year with a renewed desire to accomplish something on my weight loss journey. I am also a member of weight watchers at the moment, but I figure, hints from both WW and SP can't hurt, right? Had a rough 2017 with the death of my father at the first of the year and my brother in law at the end of the year... my focus was pulled away from my weight loss journey. I'm hoping 2018 will be easier on the emotions so that I can get somewhere with this project. Mon, 1 Jan 2018 12:09:05 EST Daily: Two Words, Change One. Sat, 24 Jun 2017 11:55:41 EST New to SparkPeople over 60 Hello, I am new to sparkpeople and just turned 61. I have about 80lbs to lose and just started tracking last Thursday. Im trying to learn how to navigate on SP. I put in a couple of messages this morning. I saw a get fit over 60 ad yesterday on SP, but can't find it today. Someone found it under LEARN drop down box. I inadvertently closed the link and yes.. Im lost.. can someone send me that link again. Thank you! Sun, 7 May 2017 22:30:37 EST Recommitted Yesterday I recommitted to walking more and sitting in front of my computer less. I ended up walking for 61 minutes and dang proud for doing it. On another note... I ate a take-out meal that was totally full of grease because I was too hungry to just say no. I told dh not to bring that home for me anymore because of all the grease AND I will make sure never to get that hungry again... remembering that I can't "outwalk" my fork. Good luck everyone!
