I know it seems excessive and obsessive, but I have been weighing myself morning, afternoon and at bedtime to see whether the time of calorie and water consumption make a difference in my morning weight. One way I have found to be effective is posting my daily weight and calories tracked. I find that if I can see my calories and weight posted together, I am able to identify trends in regards to losses, gains or plateaus.
