Thu, 6 Aug 2009 18:08:08 EST Howdy from Homer! Hi everyone! We moved from Colorado to Palmer last October....before having a baby and having hubby get laid off. He found a job in Homer, so here we are. Excited to stay in Alaska, a little dazed because of everything that's happened so quickly. :-) Looking forward to some mutual encouragement here. We know no one here, nor do we know the area. If you know of some great hikes or groups near Homer, I'd love to hear about them. Cheap and outdoors are words I love to hear. :-D Mon, 3 Aug 2009 20:49:53 EST Texas Girl going to work in Alaska greetings ya'll... well...
