I discovered "cruising" about 7 years ago. I've been on 5 cruises, all on Carnival. It's the best way to take a vacation. I hope to find other supportive cruise lover members to help me in my "get fit" journey. Thu, 20 Nov 2008 02:09:45 EST Glad to find a Cruise Team! Hi to all, I'm pretty new to Spark & just discovered all these teams! I love cruising -- what motivation! My husband & I are taking our daughter on a cruise in Jan -- it will be the first time for us through the Panama Canal & I'm really excited (and hoping I can lose a pound a week, at least, before we go!) Looking forward to being on the Team!
Denise Tue, 18 Nov 2008 12:06:52 EST anyone been on cruise and South Beach diet Wondering if anyone been on a cruise while on South Beach diet?
What food choices did you select on cruise?
and did you lose weight doing that during cruise?

I leave for mine on Saturday-thanks Tue, 14 Oct 2008 16:46:49 EST New to the team! Im not an expert on "miles" either, so not sure how that works -- and if there is a better air carrier to go with? And advice is appreciated. Wed, 4 Jun 2008 12:38:19 EST Favorite excursions and why? What are your favorite types of excursions while on a cruise? I like things like the kayak and snorkeling ones. I like these because I do not live by the ocean and the water I can snorkel in here is far too cold and dark and cloudy. It is so much better in the warm Caribbean waters that are so clear that you can actually see fish! These are good exercise too!

Aleece Mon, 2 Jun 2008 09:42:32 EST New to Cruise team Hi everyone, I love cruising and Disney cruise line the best. I still have a few more pounds to drop before we go. Thu, 5 Apr 2007 09:17:54 EST Norwegian Cruises My husband and I are in the process of trying to plan our 10 year anniversary for November 2008. I know I am very early, but I am not sure what cruise line we want to go with and/or where we want to go. I have been on 4 cruises with Princess and Royal Caribbean. The last cruise was with Princess and I wasn't that pleased. I was leaning more towards RC. Has anyone ever traveled with Norwegian Cruises and if so did what did you like the most?

Thanks in advance for your help :) ... Thu, 29 Mar 2007 13:08:01 EST Tracking what you eat while cruising Do you track what you eat while cruising? We leave next Saturday and I'm kinda worried about gaining some weight back that I've worked so hard to lose. I know the cruise line menus have healthy selections, but how do you REALLY know the calories, etc that you're eating? Any suggestions? Fri, 9 Mar 2007 19:29:21 EST Alaska cruise Hello. Well, I just got a job on a cruise ship and 3 months in the Caribbean, where I'll be "working" is enough to motivate me to join Sparkpeople.
