Mon, 25 Aug 2014 16:21:10 EST Mother of 10 week old preemie twins Hello Every one, My name is Jackie and I am returning to Spark People years later. I recently had a set of boy/girl twins 9 weeks early. They are now 10 weeks old and doing fantastic. I just wanted to stop in and introduce myself! 30 Thu, 3 Apr 2014 21:34:00 EST Hi everyone! Hi there, I'm Jessica, long time sparker, mom to 2-year old fraternal twin boys, first time poster. Thu, 2 Jan 2014 12:31:30 EST Trying to get back on track after babies Hi everyone! I have 15 month old (12 month adjusted) boy/girl twins. November 29th was one year since the second one came home from the hospital, and that combined with my 30th birthday coming up in September is motivating me to get started on getting my health in order. I want to be able to do so many things and be a good example to my babies as they get older, and I just don't feel like I'm there right now. Fri, 6 Dec 2013 15:26:30 EST One year post-twins and working on weight loss Hi ladies,

I'm not new to Spark People, but I'm brand new to this group! I have 13.5 month old fraternal twin boys that are the light of my life. I had a really healthy pregnancy and expected to lose my baby weight quickly - which I did. By 8 weeks post-partum I was back to pre-pregnancy weight. I then promptly gained 10lbs back! I'm currently 20lbs overweight and need to lose 30lbs to be back to what my "normal" and comfortable weight was before I got pregnant. I hope to learn a l... Guaranteed Results !

People are always on the lookout for a new diet. The trouble with most diets is that you don't get enough to eat (the starvation diet), you don't get enough variation (the liquid diet) or you go broke (the all-meat diet). Consequently, people tend to cheat on their diets, or quit after 3 days. Well, now there's the new Toddler Miracle Diet.

Over the years you may... Wed, 25 Sep 2013 18:48:49 EST Need help with bedtime Hi team! I'm looking for helpful ideas to get my triplet boys down for nap and bedtime. They are 22 months old and are sleeping in beds. They were really good nappers and sleepers until around 18 months when they started climbing out of their cribs. We transitioned the cribs to day beds and have 3 in the same room that the boys share. The problem is now that they can get in and out whenever they want, they don't want to lay down to go to sleep. And with the three of them, we're always o... Mon, 16 Sep 2013 16:08:34 EST Mommy to 4 year old quadruplets I need all the motivation I can get at this point. No one ever told me age 4 was the whiney stage ugh! To top that all off my mom and my husbands mom passed away this summer. Talk about emotional eating. I need to nip this in the bud ASAP! Goals to exercise instead of eating junk! Wed, 21 Aug 2013 20:09:47 EST Hello I am a mom to 4 year old quadruplets. I would like to get healthier for them and me. Wed, 21 Aug 2013 19:52:08 EST ABC - August Belly Challenge Anyone up for a "Belly Challenge" in August? I'm tired of having to constantly be aware of "sucking" my belly in so that I don't look pregnant! My son (6yrs old) asked me if I was having another baby!!!

I've been seeing great results in my back and arms - they're more muscular than ever! So much so, that I like wearing tank tops to "accentuate" them, but I don't like how the tank tops show my middle bulge... I'm aware that I may just have to deal with the extra skin on my belly... Sun, 28 Jul 2013 10:30:12 EST INSANITY Have any of you ever tried the INSANITY workout DVDs? I have not but am contemplating it…thoughts?
Thanks!
Tue, 11 Jun 2013 09:25:37 EST Hello! Hey all! I'm a new member both on SparkPeople in general and on this team. I'm a new mom to twin boys who are a few days from being 4 months and 3 weeks old. My husband and I are so blessed to be these little guys parents, and we still have moments where we relive that shock of seeing two little heartbeats on the sonar screen! We love our flutterbugs, and we're always so excited to see the next thing they learn how to do. But, as you all probably already know, growing those munchkins made me ... I know I'm preaching to the choir here but I just need to vent and hope someone understands. I'm always so tired. I sighed to DH and told him I was so tired and he said, he is too. Actually, he said he's always tired, I never have to ask him if he's tired. Save my breath - the answer is always YES! Yeah, that's how I feel too.
I'm not finding balance in my life at all. I'm constantly drained. Don't get me wrong, I'm so happy. My boys are happy and healthy and I'm so thankful fo... Thu, 21 Mar 2013 21:57:55 EST Ready for Spring! Busy doesn't cover it, as you all know. I have a vanity question, and I am a little scared of your answers. Does the twin belly ever go away? I seem to have this overhang of skin that is getting smaller, but I think it will always be there. I gained 65 lbs with my first born, lost about half that when I got pregs with twins. Huge doesn't cover it. Rowan used to stand under my be... Fri, 19 Oct 2012 10:13:55 EST Halloween! Wed, 10 Oct 2012 10:49:43 EST Baby gates? Does anyone have any advice for keeping a baby contained to a limited area? I'm thinking I probably need more baby gates but my house is really open and most of the "door way" room openings are 5 feet wide or more so I'm having trouble gating it off with standard size gates. My 3 boys are 10 months old now and love running away and hiding or escaping. If I'm holding or changing one baby, the other two will see an opportunity and make a run for it if they can. Help! Any suggestions? Thu, 20 Sep 2012 10:16:51 EST Brandy new and a little lost... I'm mama to five (holy cow!) lovely littles... a 9 year old, 6 year old, 22 month old, and four month old identical twins. I'm now at the same weight I was when I got pregnant with the twins, it's just the 30 pounds I've gained since the first baby I'm trying to get rid of. It seems the last two times I've had babies I gain weight AFTER they are born. I'm trying to figure out all sparkpeople has to offer, and any advice is greatly appreciated! Mon, 20 Aug 2012 23:08:27 EST I'm New Hi, I 'm a mother of a 20 year old daughter and 14 year old triplet girls. I am determined to get this weight off. Now I'm back and looking forward to losing the final 25 pounds and make new Sparkfriends who know life with multiples! Sun, 24 Jun 2012 09:18:25 EST Long time sparker back at last! Hello! I have 6 year old fraternal twin boys that will be going into 1st grade :) I've been a member of Spark for MANY years...but I've fallen off the wagon too many times to count. The past year I've been playing around at trying to lose the same 20 lbs. With school being out for the summer (I'm a teacher) I am using this time to really get back to what I know I need to be doing. I can't even use my boys as an excuse for the weight! I have BBG triplets (boys are identical) who are now just over 13 months old and very active! Thu, 24 May 2012 06:28:50 EST dealing with the "multiples paparazzi" I need to vent about something I'm going to call the multiples paparazzi. Everywhere my family and I go, people stop and stare at us and ask us a million questions about our triplets. I know you all must know the drill and the questions. I find it a little annoying, to be honest. For the most part, I think people are curious and good natured about it and sometimes even complimentary but it often rubs me the wrong way and I'm not used to and don't love being the center of attention. We we... Mon, 25 Jun 2007 14:33:43 EST Teaching twins PUBLIC behavior? Good Morning...

My twin boys are turning 8 this week and I realized that since they are my youngest, a lot of behaviors have gone over looked. We all have been using the "they are little" excuse for far to many years now. BUT, this summer I want to teach them that they are NOT to little. I find it hard because they seem to be on a constant play date. Here is a list of behaviors that are driving me NUTS... any of you experience this? How did you slove it? Any suggestions are w... Sun, 24 Jun 2007 09:56:47 EST I did it, and it helped my tummy too! I finally had my breast surgery! I was going to do a tummy tuck at the same time, but decided that I wanted to see what I thought about the breasts being done first. I have to say, not that I have pretty perky breasts again, I no longer am bothered by the other imperfections. I think that having a little extra skin helped with the breast streching.

But I am happy with the results, I love them and I love the doctor that did them. He did an amazing job!

Dee Mon, 18 Jun 2007 07:48:22 EST Post your daily exercise here! Let's Go! Hi All, it occured to me that there is no page here to post our daily exercise, and I don't know about you, but I need a little motivation to get moving every day!

Wednesday: Before breakfast, I walked 30 minutes on the treadmill, and went 2.25 miles, so I walked at 4.5 mph. I can walk a bit faster than that, but at any higher speed than about 4.6 mph, I tend to break into a slow jog at times, and it is too hot and humid here to jog! I am now going to do 20 minutes of upper body we... Tue, 29 May 2007 20:51:09 EST Double multiples? I was wondering if anyone knew the likelihood of having two sets of twins without fertility drugs. Tue, 15 May 2007 09:24:11 EST Newbie Hi - I'm new to this team but not necessarily new to being a mommy of multiples. My twins were born 3 weeks early on January 9, 1998. Tiffany Ruth came first weighing in at 6 lb 2 oz and Tyler Adam reluctantly came next at 7 lb 4 oz. Both were incredibly healthy and ready to leave the hospital the next day. My obgyn however saw the opportunity for me to get some rest so we stayed in the hospital 2 days. I love my babies (who are 9 now) and was thrilled at having twins. It's hard now th... I saw a few entries regarding preemies and I can sympathize. My twins were born 8 weeks early and under 4 lbs./ea. Best of luck with Dominick. Lexi was tube fed for around... Thu, 26 Apr 2007 12:40:16 EST What to do when one twin is punished? I don't know how to handle this. When, one of my twin sons is punished the other one usually, suffers also. I don't think it is fair. If, I say we are not going whereever we planned to go because of his behavior then, my other son gets punished too, because he won't be able to go either. Do you have any suggestions? My boys are 7 years old.
Thank you,
Danna Tue, 24 Apr 2007 09:57:49 EST Do you find your multiples very competetive? No heavy lifting and they are going under the muscle as I do not have enough breast tissue to "hide" the implant over the muscle. It looks like I will be going to 400cc to refill wha...
