Wed, 13 Aug 2014 10:11:44 EST August 2014 Goals and Resolutions Here it is August, school is starting, and summer is ending. We have spent a lot of time camping and traveling with the grands this summer and my exercise routine has suffered for it. While I have managed to get my walking in, my eating habits and cycling have not fared as well. I did finish one quilt for a friend in July and the forest service quilt should be finished this week. So for August my resolutions are:

1) Get my nutrition back under control and record daily
2) F... Sun, 3 Aug 2014 00:06:04 EST july 2014 goals and resolutions OK, not being alowed to ride my bike for the past 6 weeks has taken it's toll. And I did not do well enough on watching my calories. And taking trips every other week hasn't helped either. So I have shamefully gained 5 pounds. Now that I am allowed to ride again, it is too blamed hot for me (I don't ride if it is in the 90's). So, now I am using my trainer and my kayak and my goals for the summer are:

1) to lose my 5 pounds
2) finish the forest service quilt and wall hangin... I have had some breathing problems and the doctor took me off my bike and limited my exercise till they finish tests. That won't be till the middle of June, so not much riding in June either. Perhaps that will help me do more sewing, but it will require some strict diet control. For June I will:

1) Keep my nutrition below 1100 calories a day
2) Walk at least 1 mile daily
3) Get another quilt in the frame and hopefully quilted
4) Fi...
