I have recently had GREAT success on Atkins but admittedly - I am considering switching my plan to a more well-rounded one. My doctors like Weight Watchers and so I am considering it. I think there was a recent "past" plan that interested me more than Momentum - (from what I've read) - but I don't know if you join WW online NOW - Momentum is the only plan you can choose in 2009? I also have been doing a lot of reading about raw food diets and hope to gradually move my diet closer to that,... Mon, 1 Dec 2008 19:03:30 EST December Challenge - Let's build a holiday feast! Sun, 27 Jul 2008 13:28:32 EST I'm Back Hey Everybody! I'm coming back after a few months. I had a pretty crazy streak for a few months and unfortunately ww had to go. With stress compounded, some weight came back on. I tried another diet in the meantime and that did not work. Instead of losing, I have continued to gain weight. I know cost-wise this may be a little difficult for me, but my health is worth it. :-) Instead of going to the meetings (at least for the time being), I'm going to do the online version. I've been doing weight watchers on and off for years. I rejoined last October and had a few missed months since (I was paying the monthly fee, but not attending meetings. Paying did keep me slightly on track, so I didn't gain much back, but there was no loss either,) but I came back in May and decided I REALLY wanted to do it once and for all. I'm going to re-read the booklets we got at the beginning of WW. Any advice for someone starting out on CORE? Wed, 23 Jul 2008 01:19:20 EST Portion Sizes One of the tricky parts of Core for me at first was the whole 'eat until satisfied' part. If I knew how to do that I wouldn't be fat.
So along with learniing to eat such nice wholesome Core food, I concentrated on getting in my servings of fruit and veggies and eating reasonable size portions at meals. Then I paid attention to how I felt, and relearned what satisfied meant rather than stuffed and lethargic.

Here's a great 4 minute video from the Cleveland Clinic with tips ... Sun, 20 Jul 2008 15:48:36 EST Just Wanted to Say Hello I just joined this Team and wanted to say hello and introduce myself. I've been a Lifetime WW member for about 7 years. I put on a few pounds over the winter and while I was still below my goal weight, I wanted to get those pounds off before they became permanently affixed to my hips. I was constantly hungry on Flex (or at least thought I was hungry), so I decided to try Core. The winter pounds quickly melted off and, more importantly, I found that I was no longer hungry all of the time. ... Fri, 18 Jul 2008 16:42:50 EST Helloooo o o o FF Cheese..... Fri, 27 Jun 2008 18:29:48 EST Just Joined the Team Hi Fellow Core Followers. I joined Spark People a year ago, but did not make much use of it.
