I am ready to get back to my healthy self, AND stick with it! Any motiva... Fri, 7 Dec 2012 14:30:38 EST Hello everyone! Hi there everyone! Just recently, she has started to complain of leg/knee pain. I am not sure if she is hearing other people say this and she is copying it (as she has a tendency to do) or if she is really experiencing pain.. It will happen at random times. I was wondering if anyone else has dealt with Restless Leg Syndrome in toddlers... Or do your little ones complain of pains? Could it be growing pains? It has been a challenge to not take the easy way out and just buy fast-food due to the fact that I sometimes feel like I don't have time to cook. This is only from exercise calories not calories based on steps you took in the day. You may erase as many or as few items per day as you choose. Once you "erase" a food, put ... Sun, 2 Sep 2012 13:23:24 EST Just wondering Is there perhaps a thread or spot where there is a daily challenge for parents and their preschoolers? One of my othe sparkteams has a daily challenge they post everyday and it's really motivational and easy to do. I was just thinking how neat it would be if this team had a daily challenge that they posted that had to do with parents and their kids. I never really know what to do with my lil guy since he is my first and any and all daily challenges or ideas are great! If it was a daily small ... This may be silly, but since I am still breast feeding my 11 mo. old should I add that to the exercise?? I read you burn between 200-500 calories breastfeeding. She basically doesn't need to breastfeed but still does so I would consider me more on the 200 calories burned side per day.

GRANTED I know I can't use this as my main source of exercise or consider it really exercise at all.... but it's would be nice to add something a little extra if it qualifies :) Tue, 28 Aug 2012 12:20:06 EST Are your kids doing preschool?? I keep hearing that preschool is more and more of a must these days. All my friends have their kids enrolled in preschool. Sat, 25 Aug 2012 23:47:07 EST Hello! I am really glad to see this team :) I often feel guilty about working out because it takes the short amount of time I get to see my son away. I am not sure how to balance everything. And with working all day, cooking healthy meals has just gone away and been replaced with eating out which I hate.

I really want to change and to lose weight. I also want to show my son how to be healthy but I feel so constricted with time. Fri, 24 Aug 2012 21:37:44 EST I am new to SP and enjoying it all so far My name is Sarah. I am a full time mom with a 6 year old in 1st grade, Carmella, and an extremely curious and energetic 4 year old boy, Cameron. Did not start gaining weight until I started staying home full time. I can keep up with the kids, but I am not happy where I am physically. I have always been thin and am considered right on the borderline of ideal weight and overweight. This is honestly something that I have never dealt with and is new and scary to me. Tue, 21 Aug 2012 17:04:04 EST McDonald's Every time we drive by a McDonald's, suddenly my 4-year old is declaring he is hungry. Its hard to resist on day's like yesterday - it was a super busy day at work and after I picked him up from pre-school, we had to head off to do grocery shopping. So I was tired, hungry and it was already past dinner time - the temptation was really strong. Thankfully he listened after I said no. I think I would have caved if he had pushed for it. And this was one of the McDonald's in Walmart, so they ... I've been taking my 3-year-old son with me on walks, but I'm not able to walk nearly as fast as I normally would. Then again, I think it helps him to get into healthy habits. But do you think it counts as exercise for the parent? Sun, 19 Aug 2012 18:08:49 EST Hello! I'm Jen and I'm the mother of four-year old twin girls. I thought I would just recycle them to today or eat them later at home, but my son who is 2 saw my lunch bag and picked it up and carried it around calling it "my backpack" - anytime he likes or wants something it "belongs" to him.

So I said lets see if there is anything in the lunch back and we opened it up to find left over mango and a plum that wasn't eaten (2 of my son's favorites!). Which, we shared for a... Wed, 1 Aug 2012 15:12:56 EST Hey guys!! This is my first time on Spark People that I am able to join this group. Mon, 30 Jul 2012 15:31:59 EST I'M HERE!!! Hi everyone! I'm not new to Sparks People but I find it hard to find my motivation. It seems like I will start my journey, only to stop a week or 2 weeks later. I know nothing is achieved unless hard work and effort is put behind it. I've tried the buddy system and it seems to fail me everytime. I match up with friends and they soon start dropping one by one. I figured it is totally on me to lose the weight for a healthier me and to prove to myself that it CAN and WILL be DONE!!!! Mon, 30 Jul 2012 11:36:48 EST The new mom... Hi. My name is Heather. I've read so many inspirational stories already and I know if these men and women can do it than I sure can.
