I live in the north and with winter approaching my thoughts are about cross country skiing and snowshoeing. I would put snowshoeing in the walking category. But how about cross country skiing? Fri, 10 Sep 2010 15:44:32 EST New Team Leader Hi, folks!

You may have noticed the request for a new team leader for our group. I have been a member for almost two years, now, so I decided to take the plunge. Actually, this should be pretty fun, getting to know all of you a bit better.

If you have any suggestions or ideas, drop me a note either here or through SparkMail.

For now, though, it is getting late here in Idaho. I will tell you a bit more about myself tomorrow. Sun, 22 Aug 2010 00:53:03 EST Sounds Like Fun I'd like to join the group. Wed, 18 Aug 2010 10:12:19 EST What are you looking at? A couple of days ago I logged my miles and the picture that came up showing me where I was looked like I was about to jump off the rim of the Grand Canyon and climb back out again. It was a nasty long hill in Illinois. I am so in to this walk across America that it took me a while to remember I didn't really have to tackle this actual hill. On the other hand, I do try to emulate the terrain so I had to find the hilliest area I could. It wasn't so bad. Where are you? What are you looking at? Wed, 21 Jul 2010 09:43:04 EST Introduction I'm Pepe from Michigan. I've been doing The Walk since January and so far have logged 695.1 miles and now walking just outside Boonesville KY. It's really nice to have a team now, I've been wondering how they work but couldn't figure it out from the lbl site. I was really happy when I accidently found my way here and hope I'll be able to work out the details here. I'd appreciate any help from anyone.
