Congratulations to all of us label readers. 41 Thu, 12 Jun 2008 01:44:03 EST Other names for HFCS? http://www.sparkpeople.com/myspark/team_messageboard_thread.asp?board=4628x19456x15587391 I'm new here too, and I was reading the "other sugars" thread, and I was wondering about other names that HFCS might go by to make it not look like HFCS. For instance, I was reading the label of the mayo jar and it said corn syrup solids (or something like that) I'm guessing it's the same thing, more or less. Are there any other "buzzwords" to look out for when label reading? All those months of semi-clean living, and I was doing so well! The good thing about it is that the soda tasted so bad. Afterwards there was this kind of burning sensation in my throat and an aftertaste to it. Going to try to make this my only soda this year. I am a 27 yo female from Maryland, right outside D.C. I am not striving to be 100% HFCS free (I am too realistic about myself for that), but I am trying to cut it out of my diet where I can. I work as an occupational therapist and spend lots of time dancing for fun!

As I have reduced the amount I intake, I am not as hungry and do not have as many cravings.

Most importantly, I am trying to lose weight for myself, so I am comfier in my own skin.
