Aerial went to Rainbow Bridge 6 days short of one year, when I found Shelby. I had Aerial since she was 3 months old and weighed only 7-1/2 lbs. I knew, when I saw Shelby's picture on the SPCA's website and read her history, that this b... My vet recommend it a few years back and it really does work. My dog LOVES green beans so it's pretty easy to do. I buy the canned variety and at night I drain them and rinse them. Alexis is 5 and was abandoned in a parking lot when I found her. She is a beagle mix. Corkey is 3 and he is a pure breed. I believe he is a blue-spotted beagle. He was given to me by his previous owners. They couldn't keep him safe in the yard; he always got away, and they were afraid he would get hurt. Those are my babies. I'm in training for a triathlon this June and had a busy exercise week. However, if the weather holds, I'm hoping to take Ellie out for a walk around the block. She weighed in at 32.5 lbs at the vet. Even with the drug, although a bit better, she'll do it. So we k... I'm a proud owner of Miss Ellie, a beagle we adopted from a stray halfway house. We named her, Eleanor Roosevelt, or, Miss Ellie for short. She just looked like an Ellie and my husband decided on the First Lady name.
I'm going to be participating in my first triathlon this summer. Miss Ellie is helping me train for the run portion. She joins me on my runs so she can get fit too. She's 35 lbs! A tad too much!
Please share your beagle story as well!
... Mon, 18 Feb 2008 22:50:02 EST
