Tue, 19 Jun 2012 15:44:40 EST What does everyone have planned this spring/summer I thought it would be cool to see what everyone is going to be doing this spring with their horses. Are you just having a calm summer where nothing is really planned? Maybe you are planning to be serious in the arena and racking up some points on your horse. This year we gelded our stallion and he really was never put under saddle. I was able to find a young woman going through a equestrian program who wanted to train a problem horse for her classes. She in return she gets to ride other ... Mon, 30 Apr 2012 17:05:15 EST What Are Your Goals for 2012? Hey Teammates! Wed, 16 Feb 2011 13:18:22 EST Is anybody thinking about show season yet? Hay gang! Just wondering if any one out there that shows their QH is thinking about the upcoming show season. You know, another year of braving the scorching sun and a river of sweat rolling down your body as you wait in the center of the ring for some one YOU paid to give you their opinion of your horse and your performance. I went for a good long ride then entered it in my fitness tracker. I'm I seeing things right? A 60 minute ride burns over 800 calories? I think that may be a little generous. I know what a great full body work out riding is especially while training and I can really work up a sweat, but I really didn't think that I would be burning that many calories. I mean I have sweated far more on my elliptical trainer and burned far fewer calories. If this is corr... Fri, 10 Apr 2009 20:15:58 EST Mare w/an Eye Problem!
