How do you determine whether to go to law school or to a university? I appreciate your input on this question. 30 Sun, 2 Oct 2011 10:17:40 EST HI Hi 30 Sat, 20 Aug 2011 09:06:25 EST Back to school, you ready for this? Hi Group! Some of you have already started back with classes, and some (like me) will be starting next Monday. My co-worker that I have been walking with each night (also a law student), just asked me to help her train for a 5k. I am excited. Tonight was our first night running and she did really well! We also printed out a schedule for a 6 week training program and coordinated times to keep working out during the school year.

I always do a lot better with working out when I have s... Mon, 15 Aug 2011 23:15:37 EST No excuses yet still making them This summer I am only working full-time and don't have nearly as busy a schedule as I do during the school year. My excuse during the busier times was that I simply didn't have time to work out. Now... I have more time. Plenty more time, and I am still making excuses. It is too hot after work to workout, and am too tired after a full day of work. I have managed to wake up early on several occasions to get in a morning workout, but have only successfully completed my goals on a handful of t... Fri, 8 Jul 2011 19:46:18 EST Summer Law and Fitness Plans? Hey everyone! What are your plans this summer that are law school or fitness related, or both?

I got a paid job at a legal aid firm that I have been volunteering at that will extend through my last year of law school (I am currently a 2L). It will be great experience and I am really looking forward to it! (Check out my blog for more)

Also, I just started a 10K training program after recently completing my 1st half marathon. I plan on running a 10K or two this summer ... Tue, 12 Apr 2011 16:49:05 EST New Team Co-Leader! Hi Everyone! My name is Beth and I am your new team co-leader. Feel free to add me as a SparkFriend and I wish you all success on your SparkJourneys. 306 Sat, 12 Feb 2011 09:26:55 EST Congrats to people who passed the bar! I know MD and NY released results yesterday, so if you took it this summer and passed, congratulations! Sat, 6 Nov 2010 17:11:45 EST It's about time for me to introduce myself here. I've only been a member for roughly 2 months or so, haha. Anyway, I'm Mark, and I'm entering my 2L/3L year (I started in the part-time evening program, then switched to full-time, so I'm a hybrid of sorts). I plan to go into Intellectual Property, primarily patent law.

Aside from that, I'd like to say hello to all the old and new members alike. Hopefully we can get each other through another year of outlines, Socratic method classes, and be heal... Wed, 28 Jul 2010 10:09:03 EST Second Time is a charm... While I originally made my Sparks account back in March, I kind of simply left it at that. However, after a long talk with me, myself and God, I decided it was time to get back to business.

So, I'm Jannae', a 3L law student who just put on one inch too many in the past couple of years of sitting in a library or in front of a computer. I'm looking to trim off a few pounds while holding onto to the curves, so we'll see how this goes.

I look forward to getting to know... Mon, 21 Jun 2010 10:06:02 EST I may have the wrong place... Hello. I may have to wrong team, but I am going to try this out. So I am not a law student yet, but I am very interested in law school. Well I am not interested in it I am obsessed with it. I have wanted to be an attorney since I was nine. So yeah I don't know if I have the right place, but I figure I would try. I wanted to find a place where I could not only get advice about my waste, but better prepare myself for going to law school. I know a little weird. I think the combo of getting married and law school last year caused me to gain about 15 pounds. My 2L years seems to be less stressful, and I have more time for the gym. But, i'm still not losting wait. Fri, 19 Sep 2008 22:19:58 EST That has HOW many calories?!? Post here about foods that may seem healthy, but are actually packed with fat/calories/whatever...
It's hard to know just what you are consuming every day, especially now that it's sort of a fad to eat healthier, every product is advertising its "health benefits", even Cookie Crisp!! Honestly people!!!

I work at a coffee shop part time and we are all kind of turning into health nuts (or at least constantly talking about it) so we got the nutrition facts for everything we use ... Wed, 3 Sep 2008 22:01:58 EST Brand Spankin' New Hello, all! I'm Stephanie. I'm 28 and attend Thomas M. Cooley in Grand Rapids, MI and finishing up my 1st year. The stress of school makes it easy for me to excuse unhealthy choices, i.e. no time to cook, exercise, etc. Finals are quickly approaching, so my coffee pot is bottomless and my bed is now a desk. The McDonald's dollar menu is more appealing than a time consuming trip to the market - hence, the reason I am here. . . . Mon, 14 Apr 2008 06:42:18 EST small but mighty group! hey there, i just joined this group. i suppose our small size can be attributed to the busy lives we lead... not many law students looking to balance diet/exercise with everything else on our plates!

i'm in my third year of law school in nova scotia, canada. i can't believe i'm done in a couple months! i will be moving home (to ontario) in june to start articling with a small firm. my goal is to be at my goal weight and feeling great by convocation (the end of may).

...
