So, when it comes to fashion, have you bought anything new lately?

I haven't had a chance to get out for clothes shopping much lately, but last month I scored a great find on a clearance rack. I found a really cute top, short sleeve in a deep pink, with a ruffle that just kind of flows down the front. It is a pullover top, with some gathering in the back at the waist, just enough to give it shape and make it slightly fitted; looking forward to wearing it this spring. It was marked ... Sat, 21 Dec 2013 10:47:13 EST Last Episode October 18, 2013 Just thought I would pass this information along from TV Guide, for those still watching.

Last episode is Friday, October 18; at 9pm. It is a 2 hour episode. Thu, 10 Oct 2013 13:18:36 EST Twofers I'm amused. Today, I was going through my clothes and I have two of those twofers I got a couple of years ago. They seemed like a good idea at the time, but after getting them I couldn't say I was in love with them. They both were cardigans with what was supposed to be like a cami under the cardigan. They didn't hang right and just didn't seem right and the cami part just didn't do much for me. The cardigan part did seem to have possibilities. So, today, I decided it was either cut out the ca... I am not giving up Hawaiian shirts in hot weather. I think they're colorful and lively. I used to work with a woman who word them every day. Sun, 24 Feb 2013 15:30:51 EST Capri Pants I know that Stacy and Clinton don't like Capri pants. I have never paid attention as to why? Probably because I own a couple pairs. Could someone tell me why? So that I don't commit a major fashion faux pas Sat, 23 Feb 2013 21:13:23 EST How Has What Not to Wear Changed Your Style Mine has changed a lot.

I saw a picture from ten years ago and I was wearing the frumpiest outfit. Stacy and Clinton would have thrown it in the trash can. And then the unflattering triangle haircut and perm.

I now dress much better following the rules for my body type. Sun, 13 Jan 2013 10:05:16 EST Bra Today, I went bra shopping. Tuesday, my last good bra under wire snapped. I only had a Walmart bra that gaped in the cups left. It turned into a rather enjoyable experience. I ended up with four new bras for $40. They were having a sale at Penney's. Other than my black bra and sports bra, I was down to my last fitting bra for about 6 months or more. The sales lady gave me a gentle scolding about the recommendation of having enough bras so you aren't wearing them more than one day a week and n... I know I have not been around much. I'm so sorry for not being a more active leader lately. I hate to see this team dying out.
Occasionally, I like to post this question to the group so that we can make this the type of team its members want it to be. What would you like to see more of? Less of? Challenges? Games? More weight-loss support? Anything else? I know it's hard when the show is not running new episodes. But we can still chat about the reruns (I still don't think I... Fri, 9 Nov 2012 10:00:19 EST Finally back on Sparks! I am finally back on SparkPeople after not having posted for months. I had a healthy baby boy, Gabriel, on July 26th via C-Section, and between recovery, visitors, and getting used to raising 3 children under 3 1/2 years of age, etc., I am now finally ready to get back on track with my emotional eating and to start losing some weight. I hope you are all doing well. :) Sun, 28 Oct 2012 13:57:51 EST Thrift Store Finds I LOVE shopping at Goodwill. The clothes there can be soooo much better than most of the garbage in the stores. I find some great stuff! Look at the shoes I found there last night!

mazing-finds-at-goodwill.html
Fri, 26 Oct 2012 11:07:39 EST Hey, hey, WNTW junkies! Hello team. What is new with you all? Buy any cute outfits lately?
An update on me: I had my second baby in June - a sweet baby boy. Sadly still wearing soem of my maternity jeans. Ha!
I have been catching the show as much as possible when I am home during the day and think of all of you.
Let's chat! Fri, 19 Oct 2012 17:02:52 EST One gripe I wish they'd back off of flats. Not everybody can wear high heels! Women with leg, back or other postural problems can't. I've never learned to walk in heels, and at my age I don't see a reason to start now. There have GOT to be attractive flats. Sun, 23 Sep 2012 12:45:58 EST Fall: What are your thoughts? Today, I did what I love to do for the first day of any season. I shopped my closet and had a great time. Getting my old stuff out and finding new ways to wear the old stuff. Had a great time. Found a skirt that I haven't been able to wear since I got it. It fits better, but I decided that it's my goal. I want to wear that skirt this Fall/Winter without having to hold my breath to fasten it. So, exercise and good food choices to get to wear my skirt.
Cindi Sat, 22 Sep 2012 15:50:27 EST Thoughts about White after Labor Day? I know that the old rule of don't wear white after Labor Day is no longer a rule. But, what about white? I have a full white skirt that is pretty long (almost maxi) that is fun to wear with sandals and a black tank or other sleeveless shirt for a casual look. But, is this something that I would want to wear in the fall? I usually soften my white pants with brown in the fall. Don't wear white shoes and sandals any time. But how do you or don't you do white in the fall?
Cindi Sun, 2 Sep 2012 15:15:01 EST What Not to Wear, summer edition

police-top-10-slideshow/
Sat, 11 Aug 2012 21:13:41 EST Summer 2012 season ... any thoughts?? Anybody have any thoughts about the new summer 2012 season? I'll be honest, there's something about it that I don't like as well ... not as much focus on the shopping maybe? Fewer hints on how to make one's own body look better? It just feels to me like there's less of substance on the show, but I'm having a hard time defining it. That said, I still like the show, still watch it, but it's somehow less satisfying. Would love to hear other points of view. Wed, 11 Jul 2012 10:53:25 EST What Not To Wear to Work I wish I could anonymously email this to everyone in my office. Sweats and flip-flops are practically the uniform. (I still cannot get my mind around wearing flip-flops in the rain, but a lot of my co-workers do).

ice-180500140.html
Sun, 10 Jun 2012 12:30:28 EST Season premiere tomorrow Can't wait! So, have you treated yourself to anything new lately fashion-wise?

I just got a spring coat today I ordered from; a shorter length kind of dressy looking coat in black with a detachable hood. It had been $80, but it was on clearance, and I had a code for a discount, so I got it for around $35. I really like it, and it fits perfectly.

I had been looking for a dressier spring coat; I have several spring jackets but they are all kind of "sporty" looking. I wanted ... How is everyone doing?!?! Things have been slow around here, and as a team leader I am so sorry to be neglecting this wonderful team. I am pregnant (due in June) and have been on Spark pretty much only to track my food and exercise. I really want to take more time to be more social here on SP, because that is the key to success and what is so fun and great about this site. While I have good intentions to use a few extra minutes to post on teams, Spark pages, etc., I spend most of ... Thu, 15 Mar 2012 22:52:48 EST Out of touch I don't know how I got so "out of it". I just saw on Facebook that tonight's episode is the season finale; seems like the "seasons" get shorter every year. I was bummed about that.

I am going to check out that new show, Jane by Design, which is on at the same time, though I am taping it tonight so I can watch WNTW. Tue, 3 Jan 2012 17:18:13 EST Good news/bad news The good news, I totally loved last night's makeover. Chrissy was so adorable. and I loved how she looked when they finished.

Bad news, I heard them say that after next week S&C would be taking "a holiday break." Not again! What do we get, more Toddlers and Tiaras? Wed, 28 Dec 2011 12:24:56 EST I've been in the hospital I have been away for a few days because I was in the hospital. Not feeling good from side effects from the radiation. It started out with pain when swallowing, (throat burned from radiation), and I wasn't eating enough or drinking enough fluids. I got to feeling kind of weak and shaky, and had a rapid heart rate.

Went to the ER Saturday, at the time I went in my heart rate was 151. They admitted me to the hospital and did some tests and gave me lots of fluids. Also found out I had ... Fri, 23 Dec 2011 10:44:50 EST Show is back tonight! 2 hours!!! Woohoo!! Tue, 29 Nov 2011 07:50:26 EST Show coming back Just saw a commercial that said WNTW will return on November 29th with a 2-hour episode. Thought I would share with the team in case others didn't know what to expect either! Wed, 9 Nov 2011 15:38:07 EST New to the Team Hello everyone! My name is Rachel and I recently joined this team. I love this show and seeing how people transform their clothes and even some of their perspectives. I'm excited to be a part of this team and get to know people who can help me along my weight-loss journey and help me learn more about fashion too. Sun, 6 Nov 2011 19:56:19 EST What do you wear to work out in? Back in the (not so good) old days, on those rare occasions when I actually did something called exercise I usually wore whatever baggy old clothes I had on hand. It's only more recently, when I began exercising regularly, that I started purchasing clothing designed to be worn for that purpose. So I got to wondering what other people do about dressing for the gym, public or private. Do you buy yourself special workout clothes? Do you wear old comfy stuff? Or the same clothes you wear for oth... Wed, 26 Oct 2011 19:03:58 EST Holding episodes till December I noticed WNTW was not on Tuesday night. I saw on Clinton's FB page that they are holding new episodes till December. I wonder what that means!! I hope our beloved show is not on its way out.
What is going on with TLC? I was skimming past QVC on the TV today and there was Clinton, with a line of clothing I think he' s calling Kelly by Clinton Kelly. I didn't catch the whole segment but it appeared he had some nice looking pants, cute tops, a couple of dresses - I don't know what all. Did anybody else see any of them? What did you think? She's really nice and knowledgeable, it's just that something is holding me back. I'm not sure what it is. Before each week's new episode they replay a classic one with extra commentary in graphics. They've done two so far, Leeanne (the witch) and Emily (the priest). Any ideas?
Cindi Fri, 24 Dec 2010 10:50:32 EST I need your Stacy & Clinton-esque critical eyes! So, I ordered 2 pairs of jeans due to Stacy's endorsement and the super favorable reviews I found. The bootcut pair is fine (the wash is a medium instead of dark, but the fit is good and they didn't have anything darker) but the second pair says it is straight leg...and I keep seeing taper! I did the "hem to knee" thing and there is a slight difference. I uploaded 3 photos to my profile (under the photos tab, not the main page) and was hoping for some tough love from my fellow WNTW fans. They... Wed, 22 Dec 2010 16:54:02 EST Santa follows S&C's rules! Just look: He certainly knows color, because that red really highlights the rosy cheeks. The faux fur (I'll give him the benefit of the doubt on this one) is an elegant accent. Velvet is a wonderful texture, and keeps him warm on that cold Christmas Eve ride. The belt accentuates the waist (what there is of it, anyway). And how do you not love the black boots?

Santa, fashion plate! Mon, 20 Dec 2010 21:45:20 EST Any luck? How are you all doing with shopping and following "the rules"? I really struggle to find tops and dresses that work for me. I've been shopping online to save time in the malls and if I'm lucky I can find one garment that might work. Should I buy the one item in three different colours? Do any of you have similar problems?

...Pam Sun, 19 Dec 2010 11:20:01 EST You thought S&C's rules are strict? This is downright silly. What hanger to use? What color underwear to wear? I don't know who told her this looks okay. Katie Holmes is usually so well dressed...

thinking/3879/1?nc
Sat, 22 May 2010 22:24:01 EST Where do you like to shop? I was just wondering what everyone's favorite clothing stores were. Recently I discovered ann taylor loft, I just love the clothes and fit. I also like JCPenneys and kohls because they are so close to my house. Macys and new york and company make the list too. Fri, 21 May 2010 15:39:21 EST Extreme shoes Heels even Stacy would hate. I don't see one of these I'd even consider wearing. It was a real eye opener for me, I was surprised that they have some of the same facial issues most woman have (Reddness, dark circle under eyes, blemishes). I was wondering if anyone else caught it too! Thu, 13 May 2010 19:33:06 EST 2 websites that help you find your personal style I saw these mentioned in my Real Simple magazine. I just clicked on the briefly to check them out and thought I would share.

One of the stylists on this site was a "shopping location coordinator" for WNTW.

Fri, 7 May 2010 20:51:38 EST "I can't believe I used to wear that!"

/old-school-fashions/?ncid=AOLCOMMshop
DYNLsec0001&icid=main|htmlws-main-n|dl
6|link7|
2Farticles%2F2010%2F05%2F03%2Fold-scho
ol-fashions%2F%3Fncid%3DAOLCOMMshopDYNLsec0001
Tue, 4 May 2010 20:55:36 EST What would S&C say? She was on talking about cut-outs and mixed prints. I didn't like the mixed prints, even though she says they are OK. Fri, 30 Apr 2010 09:08:35 EST What would Stacy and Clinton throw out ? As I was cleaning out my closet and getting rid (donate)of clothes I was wondering what Stacey and Clinton would throw out. I have a tendency to find a shirt I like and buy it in all the colors available. I also own a ton of black-shirts, shoes, and pants. I did toss the acid wash jeans from the 80s! Fri, 30 Apr 2010 08:15:45 EST Great DailySpark post today Thought it was very appropriate for our team!

y_bliss_dress_for_the_body_you_have_today
Thu, 29 Apr 2010 08:39:41 EST What to wear with light mauve? I bought a pair of "skinny leg" jeans today, ankle length, in a "dusty mauve", (the color looks more like dusty pink to me) at JCPenney today. I plan on wearing them with a pair of cute flats, but I'm not sure what color of top, other than white, to pair them with. Tue, 27 Apr 2010 19:50:37 EST College students and PJ bottoms Yesterday we had Pho for lunch at a place that was located near a local college. I saw so many students walking around wearing either sweats or pajama bottoms. Ah, gotta be comfy the Sunday morning after a night of drinking. Those were the days... LOL. Mon, 26 Apr 2010 09:35:47 EST Nick or Ted- who would you rather style your hair? I was wondering if people would prefer Nick or Ted to cut and style your hair. Would you allow them to do whatever they wanted to do with the color or cut? I would be most nervous about this part of the make-over and probably not allow either to cut my hair too short. I wouldn't care about a color change because you could always change it back. I like what Ted has been doing so far so I think I would prefer him. Thu, 22 Apr 2010 09:29:48 EST It doesn't "match", it "goes" I'm still trying to get my head around this concept. The only thing I think I get is that Clinton once said that "going" means that the colour is of a similar intensity as the others in the outfit. Are there any other ideas on how to make colours "go" together? What about "cool" versus "warm" palettes? Does that matter?

...Pam

PS The other day I saw a woman who's mauve necklace matched her blouse perfectly and I could see why "matchy-matchy" isn't always a good thing. Th... Tue, 20 Apr 2010 13:25:45 EST New 2 The Team & Hoping 4 Fashion Ideas-Love WNTW! Hi, my name is Amora, i'm 26, divorced (happily) & have 2 wonderful children. I'm new to this team but not SP. Now that I'v lost about 14 lbs since i joined SP & need to seriously update my closet w/new clothes that actualy fit me now. I love to be fashionable, however i don't care what the latest fashion runway hype is. I just need some help matching my clothing together. Love to wear skirts but have major trouble matching shoes to them! Also, what colors match with other colors? I'm so lost... Sun, 18 Apr 2010 11:33:16 EST Big Texas Hair- what did you think? Yesterday, before the season finale ,they replayed the episode where a woman named Jessie who wore rhinestones and had big blonde Texas hair. Well Nick cut it short and deepened the color. I often don't like the hair cuts he does but I actually liked this one a lot. Well Jessie hated it and ended up getting extensions a month later. What did everyone think of her cut? Sat, 17 Apr 2010 14:04:52 EST Hi, watching the finale right now so I had to join I joined sparkpeople a few weeks ago to keep track of my calorie count and find some inspiration to lose those final 10 pounds. I love watching WNTW and really like the finale. Stacey and Clinton give some great advice on finding the right clothes for your body type. The show made me realize how so many people have body issues that I would probably never notice on them. Did anyone else see tonight's show? Fri, 16 Apr 2010 22:30:07 EST Hey hey!! Hello :) My name is Jen and I'm new to Sparkpeople. I joined at the beginning of last week because I hoping to find a good community and support group for losing weight.

My ULTIMATE goal is to loose 60 lbs, and go on a shopping spree for myself a la WNTW :D Mon, 12 Apr 2010 13:36:49 EST What Not To Waste Your Money On Stacy and Clinton will need CPR after this!

pants-that-cost-1-000-has-fashion-gone
-completely-insane-1264398/#poll-1F8C9
3463DAC11DF806980519E992185
Sat, 10 Apr 2010 13:30:08 EST Wedding Dress If you're married, did your wedding dress follow the rules? I don't think the show was on that long ago, but the rules still applied! LOL! I chose that dress because it made me look good and I felt good in it. Hmmmm... Fri, 9 Apr 2010 00:28:29 EST It's becoming so ingrained... I started knitting a new jacket this week. When you are shopping, or planning to go shopping, do you have to be in a certain frame of mind to be able to go? Or does shopping cheer you up? Or is shopping discouraging? Do you identify with a celebrity, style-wise?

...Pam Sat, 27 Mar 2010 11:20:44 EST WNTW and my therapist I've told my therapist how much I love WNTW and that I've been taking notes from S&C. Wed, 24 Mar 2010 21:36:05 EST Stacey and Clinton, please report to Hollywood!

thinking/3704/1?nc#id=1
Sat, 20 Mar 2010 21:03:11 EST WNTW candidates in your city? Here in Baltimore I see so many candidates for the show!! Flip flops are the shoe of choice here, along with big hair and mom jeans. S&C would have a field day. Just wondering, does your city need S&C too? Fri, 19 Mar 2010 07:56:43 EST Could they help me? I apologize in advance -- I've had a bit to drink tonight and I'm not in a great mood. But this question has been on my mind.

I weight 400 lbs. I have no shape -- I'm a giant blob on feet. They say any body looks great dressed correctly. But when there is (I am not kidding) a 30 inch difference between your bust and your hips, IS there such a thing as dressing correctly? Fri, 19 Mar 2010 00:56:34 EST Tried on Stacey's pants! My daughter was down to one pair of pants that fit and that didn't have holes. Took her shopping at Shopko, one of the stores that carries Stacey's jeans...the ones she promotes. I tried on two different styles, but didn't get either one. The good news was they were both size 8 and fit!! I wouldn't have even had to hem them!!

The bad news is that they hugged the thighs just enough to give me the "ice cream cone" shape they preach against (you can kind of see it in my profile pi... Tue, 16 Mar 2010 00:07:23 EST I thought Friday's new episode was the best one ever! The subject had undergone a double mastectomy and pretty much given up on dressing for her body. Stacey and Clinton really changed her life, I was very moved. And I thought the new hairstylist totally redeemed himself, too! It was a great show. I only wish they would do a new intro! Mon, 15 Mar 2010 11:11:20 EST Clinton will approve!

/argyle-socks/?ncid=AOLCOMMshopDYNLsec
0001&icid=main|htmlws-main-n|dl6|link5
|
les%2F2010%2F03%2F12%2Fargyle-socks%2F
%3Fncid%3DAOLCOMMshopDYNLsec0001
Mon, 15 Mar 2010 10:35:52 EST Clinton's Macy's ad I just saw it yesterday, and it's hilarious!

If you don't have Macy's in your area: A young woman is having her passport photo taken for a trip to Europe. At least she's trying to, but Clinton intervenes. "Look, I know your feet aren't in the photo, but I still can't let you wear platform flip-flops. Besides, you can't take them on your trip anyway, because I'm pretty sure they're illegal in Europe."

There's apparently a shoe sale at Macy's, but who cares? I just love... Mon, 15 Mar 2010 09:36:41 EST Cleaned out my closet Hubby and I are putting a bunch of stuff into storage, and I figured this was the perfect time to finally clean out my closet. I went through every piece and asked myself: Would Stacy and Clinton throw this out? :) I also got rid of the last few "big" items I was hanging on to and packed away my maternity clothes. Kinda bummed that some of my pre-prego jeans don't fit but I WILL fit back into them. Mon, 15 Mar 2010 09:20:36 EST Oscars thread Thought I would start a thread for anyone who wants to discuss the dresses from last night's Academy Awards. I loved SJP's dress (but not the hair). Mon, 8 Mar 2010 09:34:40 EST New here Hi everybody, just saw this team on a friend's page. I love What Not to Wear! I would love to go on the show!
I just started Spark last month and have lost 9 lbs so far. I am loving it and feeling great! My goal is to lose at least 30 lbs. before my 15 year high school reunion in October.
I have been married to my husband for almost 13 years. We have 2 children - a 5yo daughter and a 1yo son. Sun, 7 Mar 2010 21:54:01 EST Trying to start the process I thought it was a harmless, fun show, but what I didn't expect was that it would inspire me the way it has. Well, it's time for me to make a change.

Unfortunately, given my weight issues the clothes have to be the final step in the process. When the tax money gets here I'm starting with a good haircut. I'm also buying aome new accessories. Sat, 6 Mar 2010 21:16:18 EST Transitioning from Winter to Spring Any thoughts on how to transition between Winter and Spring clothes. Still looking appropriate to the time of year but having some fun. I am wanting to dress differently from the heavy sweaters, but still keep warm when the temperatures are cooler.
Cindi Sat, 6 Mar 2010 18:18:52 EST A quote S&C would love! Author Jimmy McDonough has written a biography entitled "Tammy Wynette: Tragic Country Queen." He got this quote from Dolly Parton about her fashion sense:

"Tammy didn't have any more fashion sense than I did, really. I always say me and Tammy, we got our clothes from Fifth and Park -- that was, the fifth trailer in the park." Great quote, and I can just hear either of our heroes saying it.

(Dolly THERE would be a celebrity makeover challenge for them!) <BR... Sat, 6 Mar 2010 12:42:57 EST I have a question S&C urge their subjects to look for pattern. What, then, is their problem with florals? I've seen them toss out some (to me) perfectly lovely floral-patterened items. Sun, 28 Feb 2010 10:38:19 EST Eating habits and spending habits Today has turned into a bit of a celebration. (No kids for a whole evening!). As such, I found that not only am I eating way more than I normally would, but I'm also spending more money than I normally would!

So my question for all of you is Do you find that when you exercise consistently, make healthy choices, etc. do you also spend less money? Shop less? Feel more in control of pretty much everything (or at least more stuff)? Fri, 19 Feb 2010 22:35:31 EST Hi i'm Kristin... I joined sparkpeople to help me lose weight, i've tried everything and nothing seems to work. I hope this is the answer to my prayers. =) Fri, 19 Feb 2010 10:17:50 EST Slouchy spring pants Saw this from Real Simple today. The magazine says slouchy pants are the trend for this spring. Am I the only one who thinks these are hideous (at least the ones they show)?

ide-website/daily-finds/comfortable-pa
nts-00000000029988/index.html
Thu, 18 Feb 2010 08:28:37 EST I just have to wonder... I love knitting. Right now I'm making myself a tweed hooded coat with cables up the fronts and cuffing the sleeves. I also have a swing coat and an Aran cardigan in the works.

I wonder what Stacey and Clinton would think? Sometimes I think they're kind of down on sweaters. Mon, 8 Feb 2010 12:43:46 EST What is your style goal for the year? What, if anything, about your personal style are you looking to change this year?
For me, it's more accessories - that one piece that adds interest to each outfit. And cuter shoes, now that I am not pregnant and can wear higher heels again. Sun, 7 Feb 2010 11:01:03 EST Shoes - Comfort vs Fashion I'm really struggling with shoes. Since I've taken up running, I've discovered that my formerly resonably-comfortable heels are now the source of a lot of pain. Heels put my hips, pelvis, knees, etc. all into positions that my body rebels against. Is anyone else experiencing this? Now I know why some "jocks" wear running shoes all the time.

...Pam Fri, 29 Jan 2010 16:42:40 EST Bags and Purses Over Christmas I began to see women carrying 2 bags. Just wondering what this is all about? It looks like two large purses. First I saw it at a restaurant, so I thought the person was carrying someone else's bag for them. But, I also have seen it since. Am I right to assume that one is the purse and one is a bag to carry other stuff?
Cindi Fri, 22 Jan 2010 20:23:39 EST I bought some skinny jeans today I tried on a pair of skinny jeans today when I was in JCPenney. I didn't think they would look good on me, and I thought they would feel tight, but to my surprise, they fit really well, and were flattering, and also comfortable! I bought a pair in dark denim. I can't wait til spring when I can wear them with a pair of cute flats! But I live in Michigan, so we have at least 6 more weeks of sloppy weather left. Fri, 22 Jan 2010 17:00:06 EST Pink So... It seems to me that bubble gum pink is considered a no no by WNTW for anyone who's over 30. Do I understand this rule correctly? Do I have to give my cardigan away? Mon, 11 Jan 2010 11:13:13 EST Happy New Year, WNTW fans! Hi everyone! I'm a little late with this - I haven't been on Spark for about a week or so. Wanted to wish everyone on this team a healthy and happy new year filled with lots of SPARK!
Hope everyone is doing well. Let's make this team even more fun and interactive in 2010!! :)
NEW EPISODES THIS FRIDAY! Woo hoo!!! Tue, 5 Jan 2010 18:51:38 EST Dog Walking and Camping I can't remember which episode it was, but Stacy and Clinton tossed away a woman's dog walking clothes because they were shapeless, out of style and otherwise not particularly attractive. That got me thinking. I have a few things in the closet that I reserve for just that, walking the dogs or going camping. I'm not meant to attract anyone, just to be comfortable, washable and durable. What do you think? Should I be looking for replacements that are comfortable, washable, durable AND attractiv... Sun, 3 Jan 2010 18:30:33 EST New Year's Resolutions Hi Team! I'm generally not a big fan of New Year's Resolutions. I figure that you don't need a special day to make changes in my life. That said, I'm planning on making a resolution this year. I'm going to kick the Diet Pepsi habit for good this year! My last DP will be on 12/31/2009. I'm going to replace the DP with water, tea and Crystal Light.

Anyone else have a resolution? If so, what is it? Do you have specific plans to make sure you reach the goal? Mon, 28 Dec 2009 16:43:55 EST January 8th! TLC was showing some WNTW reruns today and they said the new season starts on January 8th! Yippee! I can hardly wait! Sun, 27 Dec 2009 00:04:46 EST Last minute shopping Is anyone here a last minute shopper? Not just for Christmas, but anytime? I personally don't like to wait until the last minute. What are your thoughts? Mon, 21 Dec 2009 22:55:48 EST Not Polyester! So... I finally got satellite tv and I'm catching up on the episodes. One message comes through loud and clear, synthetic fabrics are bad. So I was at the mall today and I'm really stumped. I know that cotton denim and corduroy, leather, wool and cashmere are all good, but what are our blouses supposed to be made of? And pants? I can't find anything for work in the wintertime that has anything other than just a little bit of wool in them. Most of the clothes I'm finding for work and special o... I'd love to hear from everyone. :) :)

Sorry I haven't been around very much. Been busy and overwhelmed (but in a good way). Thanks to CartoonB for being such an awesome leader of this team and to all the members for checking in and chatting on our boards. Can't wait... Wed, 16 Dec 2009 12:16:12 EST Just joined this team today I was searching for a fun team to join and I figured this one would be great. I LOVE what not to wear!!!! Don't you just wish you could be on that show?? 9

Looking forward to getting to know you! Fri, 4 Dec 2009 14:57:38 EST Is there a NEW season of WNTW?? Seems like its the same old reruns and that Say Yes to the Dress is in their time slot. Anybody know anything? I did see one last week I hadn't seen before w. a young man on it, but not sure if that was new or I had just missed it before.
Claire Thu, 3 Dec 2009 15:18:43 EST Those jeans in the commercials Does anyone have the "slimming" Lee jeans in those commercials with Stacy? I am curious about them. They seem like they would be comfy. Thu, 3 Dec 2009 14:54:02 EST A - Z Christmas Saw this on another team and thought it might be fun.

A - All the shopping! Sun, 29 Nov 2009 22:38:20 EST Black Friday Shopping - Love it or Hate it? I was one of those people out standing in line at 4:30 this morning. It was cold, but the wait went by really fast. I personally LOVE shopping the day after Thanksgiving.

How does everyone else feel about this shopping day? Fri, 27 Nov 2009 21:45:59 EST I'm an 80's girl I noticed the longer shirts/sweaters and legings are in fashion again, I even seen a pair of stirup pants today(or whatever they're called now) so 80's I know, but because of my weight, I couldn't get away with that look back then. Today I tried on an outfit and loved it, BUT should I leave this look for the younger girls?? I'm 45. I've seen it on the 20 somethings but not on my age group, yet.

Hey, maybe big hair will make a comeback too, LOL... Fri, 27 Nov 2009 20:07:43 EST Happy Thanksgiving! Hi and Happy Thanksgiving to our wonderful team! Wow, I can't believe the month is coming to an end and the holiday season is here. Crazy!! 2009 will be over before we know it!
I hope you are all doing well with your health, fitness and weight loss. Don't forget to take some "me" time and buy something cute for yourself when out shopping. :)
Wed, 25 Nov 2009 16:17:21 EST Oprah today Did anyone see the guy makeovers on Oprah today? The makeover they did for that guy on her show 19 years ago was hilarious!!! LOL!
I love makeovers. The Biggest Loser had them this week also. Thu, 19 Nov 2009 20:17:21 EST Say NO to the dress! What is up with " Say Yes to the Dress" taking over our show's time slots? Even for reruns like at 6 p.m.!! Sheesh!! I miss my show! Thu, 12 Nov 2009 20:20:51 EST Purses/ac cessories on Clearance I was in ShopKo yesterday and I saw that they had purses on clearance. Of course I HAD to go look. I think it's a law or a chick magnet or something like that. LOL! The cheapest clearance bag was $20. I thought that was still too much, at least for that bag.

What do you think is a good price for clearance bags? Am I being too much of a cheapskate? Sat, 31 Oct 2009 15:03:42 EST Time to start the Virtual Walk WNTW Team,

We will start our Virtual Walk tomorrow. There was a suggestion to walk from Grand Forks Mall in North Dakota to New York City (shopping at both ends!). That distance is over 1200 miles. That is a long way to go, so I thought we could break it up and walk from Grand Forks to The Mall of America in Bloomington Indiana and then on to New York. Hi everyone,

I am on a team that is Walking to Las Vegas (we're in Idaho). The walk is broken up into different legs and as members complete each leg, they can donate their miles to someone else who is still walking.

Questions:
Is this a challenge you would like to do?
If so, to where should we walk?
Where should we start?

I thought we could walk to New York (or some other great shopping mecca) for a shopping trip. Any ideas?

Th... Fri, 23 Oct 2009 00:06:23 EST What *to* wear, WAHM edition I just wrote a blog post about my wardrobe dilemma. I've got nothing but stained T-shirts and nowhere to wear them. Work-at-home moms out there, have you found the uniform that is practical but not completely frumpy? Are there trendy items that will fit into a completely non-fashiony life? Sat, 17 Oct 2009 07:02:03 EST Leggings and open toe booties I was watching a fashion segment on some show today. Why are leggings back in style? Grrrr. And I don't like those little ankle booties with open toes! Ankle booties are OK, but I think they look better when they are closed-toe.
What do you ladies think?
Is there anything in style now that you refuse to wear?

Thu, 15 Oct 2009 11:49:13 EST WNTW Daily Challenges for the whole week! Tue, 6 Oct 2009 22:51:11 EST Glamour magazine normal sized models
I might have to pick up a Glamour magazine now to show support for this. I read an article about a German magazine that will no longer be printing pictures of dangerously skinny models and will only be printing images of healthy models. I'm trying to find the link to that article. Tue, 6 Oct 2009 10:48:22 EST WNTW Daily Challenge - 10/6 Read an SP article that has helped you and link it here for the rest of us to enjoy. Mon, 5 Oct 2009 23:22:18 EST What NOT to Wear, for REAL! There are many types of clothing I've learned from the years that are TROUBLE! No matter how beautiful the garment, the cut or the print can mean disaster to how I look. I find now that I usually stick with what I know works and stay away from things that do not work except on a size 0.

So, list fashion no-no's that will help someone else trying to dress a curvy figure successfully. Mon, 5 Oct 2009 16:16:20 EST WNTW Daily Challenge - 10/4 Name one item of clothing that either you have or would like to get that follows the rules for you. Thu, 24 Sep 2009 23:25:08 EST How Do You Organize Your Closet?

estion-clothes-closet-organization/

had an interesting post on this topic this week.

My closet is organized only by colour right now, R.O.Y.G.B.I.V., a rainbow. Sun, 20 Sep 2009 22:01:28 EST Daily Challenges?? How does everyone feel about daily challenges? Do you like them or would prefer not to see them? My idea would be to post something each night for everyone to try to do the next day.

The challenge could be something easy like Sing along to your favorite song, or more difficult like eat two new fruits. Any member could post the next day's challenge.

Does the team want to do this? Sat, 19 Sep 2009 00:54:26 EST OT, but I'm curious Have you seen the show 'Man V. Food' on the Travel Channel? If so, what do you think? Is it harmless entertainment or setting a bad example in this time of an "obesity epidemic"? Is it fun to watch someone inhale a week's worth of calories in a matter of minutes? I don't have a strong opinion either way but I am curious what people think and do wonder what kind of toll it will take on Adam's health in the long term. Sat, 5 Sep 2009 00:02:37 EST Designer Jeans I've just been gifted a pair of black Versace jeans. This may sound silly, but I haven't ever worn designer clothes, so I wonder if I should be doing something special with my top, shoes and accessories because these pants cost a million dollars? Or do I wear them like any other pair of jeans... just not to do yard work.

...Pam Mon, 31 Aug 2009 16:23:22 EST Fall Clothes What is a "must have" for your fall wardrobe?

Mine is a plum or raspberry colored sweater.
