Sat, 10 Nov 2018 16:49:12 EST Easy and Quick Easy and quick and usually no leftovers! Living alone (84 and in a wheelchair) and preparing many meals for myself I found Starkist pouches. All I need to do is open one of these single serve packets (Tuna, Salmon, or chicken) and add it to rice, pasta, salad makings (love with avocado)and whatever veges I have on hand. Sometimes I just need a snack and fork it right out of the pouch. Not snacking on chips, crackers, chocolate (!!!!) I have found some pounds dropping off! Love it when I... I am vegetarian but bought the 99 cents recipes on Kindle. Some are really worth trying. They can be very healthy, you can substitute for meat or eggs etc. Most use foods already in pantry or fridge. Fri, 9 Feb 2018 14:05:38 EST Mexican Food I love Mexican food! I have gotten into taco salads using turkey meat. I like salsa, tomatoes, lettuce, beans (what I have on hand), I don't like adding too much when trying to watch my calories. Some small amount of cheese. Perfect! Wed, 15 Mar 2017 20:49:50 EST Hi all Hi everyone,
My name is Jen, I'm 34 and live with my husband and 2 beautiful kitties. I could not be happier with my little family but it does cause cooking issues. These issues are further compounded by the fact that we live in an apartment with a horrible freezer (everything gets frost burnt in a few days no matter how we wrap it, believe me I've tried) and a whole lot of humidity in the kitchen (good luck keeping bread fresh). I hope the New Year has gotten off to a good start for everyone. Have you set goals? I'm never sure if I'm a fan or not of goals, but the beginning of a new year seems a good time to set them.

My goal is to get back into my exercise and food routine. One of today's was about finding motivation to do exercise when you don't want to. They queried the SP community to ask how folks motivated themselves to do something they're really not in the mood to do. One of the top answers was "just do it!" This is true for me. Another was "put on your exercise clothes." Only rarely has this not worked for me.

So, how do you motivate yourself to workout when you don't w... I still feel like 2014 just started and now we're into the final quarter of the year!

This month is my re-start month - trying to get back to an exercise routine and an eating routine after the joy of moving.
