But lately the thing that draws the most attention for me on my walks are these 2 new huge balloons in the sky promoting phone sales. Anyone else see these things? lol Tue, 19 Apr 2011 15:57:30 EST Huntington Beach Waterfront walkers So there's always activity at the beach, and while walking here may be intimidating for a few of us, it would probably be easier with a buddy or two! Do you already walk at the beach, or want to walk at the beach? Post here to meet other beach walkers! Tue, 19 Apr 2011 15:56:03 EST Mile Square Park Walkers! So this is a great place to walk! Tue, 19 Apr 2011 15:54:19 EST Dinner- What are you serving up tonight? So I need to share this. I was at whole foods in huntington beach with my boyfriend and we stopped to visit his roommate in the seafood dept. They have this amazing stuffed salmon roll with spinach feta and it's only 240 calories! You can buy it frozen or fresh and ready for the oven! What a great find! Tue, 19 Apr 2011 15:53:01 EST Breakfast- What did you have today? So I very much enjoy having fruit smoothies for breakfast. ou can take your time drinking them so they really fill you up! All you need is about 1/2-1 cup low-fat or 2% milk, a banana, and any other kind of fruit you like. Just add a handful of ice to that in a blender and bam! Breakfast in a glass. Very handy for those of us on the move in the morning doing housework. Tue, 19 Apr 2011 15:49:47 EST Lunches-What did you eat this afternoon? So my new fav recipe that I found on spark is for a pizza. I use a thomas' whole wheat bagel thin, spread low-cal organic pizza sauce on both sides and add low-moisture part skim shredded cheese on top! Then I pop it in the toasted for a while and it's just delicious and I find as long as I don't wolf it down that it fills me up! Tue, 19 Apr 2011 15:47:52 EST How are you spreading the spark? I'd like to see us spread the spark! Send a mail and a goodie to 5 of your team members and post here who you sent to and why! Let's revitalize our team! Wake up Orange County! =) Get to sparkin'! Like many of you I joined SparkPeople in hopes of leading a healthier lifestyle. The articles and videos led me down the path of success in my weight loss journey. I started running, and although it was very difficult at first I stuck with it. Everyday I would run more than I had the previous day. Eventually I decided, "Hey this is fun. I should run a marathon." Everyone I knew thought I was crazy. I even had friends tell me, "I don't think you're going to do it, 26.2 miles is a long way to ... Wed, 1 Sep 2010 17:45:46 EST Hello.... Mon, 19 Apr 2010 18:18:00 EST Decision made...... I joined SparkPeople a long time ago, and I am now getting serious. I have about 75 pounds to lose, and I just don't know how I got this way. Wait, I have to own it. Bad food, lots of beer, eating late, inactivity.....and then there's life too. My doctor told me I need to keep it as simple as adding a 0 to the weight I would like to be. All of a sudden the "AHHHH" moment happened. I took a week, didn't worry about it and then started a mostly serious attempt yesterday. I am 55 years old and a...
