Thu, 6 Jun 2013 10:21:41 EST Hi Fab 40's Team! I am Colbra13. I have ten pounds to lose. I like to go to the gym regularly. My sticky point is eating. I am consuming too many calories and thus maintaining my weight. It sounds so simple, easy in fact, eat about 500 less calories a day and you could lost a pound a week. Why does that seem so easy, but seem so hard! Glad to be here. Mon, 3 Jun 2013 13:32:00 EST Hi my name is Jennifer I am 45 years old. I have 3 Adult children and am trying to get into shape. Mon, 29 Apr 2013 12:55:53 EST Just signed up for the strength training goal Hi there --

I just joined this team and decided to sign up for the 2x a week strength training goal. Is anyone else doing that? I'm essentially a beginner looking to do some regular, simple weights with the goal of keeping fit and strong. I'm not interested in extreme challenges or pushing myself like crazy. I would love to connect with others who share similar goals.

Thanks,

Erin Fri, 26 Apr 2013 11:19:32 EST Motivation for Success: Walgreen's Rewards I got a notice in a newsletter that tracking weight, setting goals and logging earn points. I'm just about ready to turn 40 and I'm kinda scared. I was ok when I turned 30 but for some reason this feels different. My life doesn't seem to be amounting to much these days except a lot of aggrivation and stress. I've got 3 young boys ages 7,5 and 1. My husband works nights as a night milker. I teach my sister life skills and how to become independant but I don't think I know right now how to be. I'm hoping to meet new friends and fit in somewhere. Sun, 14 Apr 2013 19:52:50 EST new here but not to fitness and nutrition I use to be overweight, out of shape and was a smoker. when my marriage ended it was time for a change so i turned the focus on me. Running has helped me kick the cigarettes and also kickstarted a healthier fitter me. I like to set goals for myself and enjoy seeing and encouraging others to meet their own personal goals. I now teach an indoor cycling spin class as well as a strength training circuit class and a weekend cardio class. I think the best exercise is the one that you enjoy doing.
