I opened an account here a while ago but never used it. I need to make some lifestyle changes and I'm hoping this will keep me accountable and motivated! I was diagnosed with Fibromyalgia and crazy food intolerances a little over a year ago and have since changed my diet quite drastically, which, has really helped with my health. Tue, 8 Apr 2014 13:27:51 EST Hey, new to site Looking for friends :) Mon, 7 Apr 2014 10:33:15 EST Back problem So I screwed up my back pretty bad I think. I'm not even really sure what happened. I just bent over at work to put on my boots and I felt something in my back pop. A day later I noticed that one side is swollen to the point that it makes my whole body look like it's crooked. I checked my spine and I am about 90% sure that it's still straight, but one hip/side is a lot bigger than the other and I'm in a good bit of pain. I can't find anything that seems to be out of place, but obviously some... Sun, 6 Apr 2014 03:26:46 EST Hey Hi, my name's Dave. I'm 29, from WV. I lost about 50 lbs last year. I went from 230 to 180. I've been going to the gym, running and being a lot more conscious about what I eat. I'm still not happy with my body though. I have definitely made improvements, but not as much as I'd like. I lost weight and it's very noticeable, but I can't seem to get rid of the belly and my muscles really only show if I flex. I know that a big part of it is me not being as serious as I should be. I've had lazy per... Thu, 3 Apr 2014 05:17:12 EST Hey! Hey everybody my names Molly and I'm 24 years old. I'm trying to lose 13 lbs by the time I go to Hawaii at the end of May. Thu, 14 Mar 2013 00:57:34 EST How much exercise and what types? Hey!

I'd love to hear about everyone's workout programs. Just trying to get some ideas. I usually do 30 minutes to an hour. I'm trying to do Jillian Micheal's 30 day shred, plus some cardio throughout the day. I'm having a hard time! I'm 4'10 and 102, and my goal is going to 90. :)

Thanks guys! Tue, 12 Mar 2013 17:42:15 EST How and What do you eat for Breakfast? New day! I couldn't get my self to eat much this morning (I'm not a morning eater), but I managed to force down half a slice of toast, with peanut butter, and a couple bites of an apple. It was actually really rough, trying to force myself to eat. I normally try not to eat when dieting! But, hoping that this new way of dieting will pay off whereas everything else hasn't. How do you folks get food in your bellies in the wee hours of the am? (I get up at 7, so it's really not too early) Tue, 12 Mar 2013 16:05:04 EST Sugar addiction! Long story short... transferred to a university and am constantly under STRESS. Instead of exercising like I used to, I stuff my face with sugars! Clif bars, cookies, lattes, candy, sugar in my breakfast food, fruits of all sorts, naked juices... AH. Help! I always feel so tired after I eat sugar, but I can't help but craaave it.

Yesterday I started working out again. The stair climber is my new friend. Tue, 12 Mar 2013 13:37:31 EST New and looking forward to support Hi all! I'm 29 years old and over the last 3 years have gradually gained weight or maintained despite using WW and exercising regularly (3-5 days per week for 30-75 minutes per time), I've struggled. I recently was put on a mild dose of thyroid medicine, but I don't think it's been long enough to notice a difference. Funny thing is, despite only losing about 3 pounds in the last 2 months, I'm wearing a size smaller in pants and many of my clothes are too big. Also, people have been asking... Mon, 11 Mar 2013 23:11:02 EST online/at home fitness programs I am looking at starting Jamie Eason's Live Fit, 12 Week, 3 Phase program on in April

son-livefit-trainer.html

Just wondering if anyone else has tried any similar programs (ex. P90X type stuff) and what opinions/results they had? Mon, 11 Mar 2013 16:23:25 EST Have you taken any new classes/ orkouts? Hi!
I haven't been on here in a while but it feels great to be back. I'm starting this post to help us find ways to challenge our selves and to try something new. Just because you try it, does not been you will like it but at least you changed it up a little. Well, I have started doing a class at my gym called Bodyflow. It is a pilates, yoga, tia chi mix. I wasn't sure if I would like it at first but I gave it a shot and it turned out be soooo Awesome!! I'm glad I gave it a shot. So what... Mon, 11 Mar 2013 13:12:28 EST Wanted: text buddy to motivate each other Hey sparkers, so I am 25, go to grad school and work and I am finding it very difficult to eat right and work out. I would like to find someone around my age that is working on eating right/working out so that we could motivate each other. Having similar interests in common would be wonderful as well: loving the daily show/colbert report, enjoying self magazine, hiking, tea/lots of coffee, and having dry humor works as well. So if you're down to earth, text without abusing the filler (lol, lm... Sun, 10 Mar 2013 00:22:30 EST Do you put more focus on your failures? Do you put more focus on your failures rather than your success? How can you change it?

I often notice I am harder on myself for my failures. I find them easier to point out and get upset about. But as far as my success, I often do not recognize it and don’t stop to be proud of myself. This also makes me miss out on a lot of the good I do. Today in order to focus on the good, every time I achieve a goal I am going to reward myself with some me time!
Thu, 7 Mar 2013 01:23:26 EST Do you feel lonely more often than not? Why? Do you feel lonely more often than not? Why? Do you want to change that?

More often that not I feel lonely. I do not know how to fix it. I can be surrounded by a hundred people and I often still feel like I am a sore thumb in a crowd. I get over-whelmed around a lot of people and I think that is why I don’t reach out. Or it may just be my lack of connection. Today to change it I am going to offer two random people compliments!
Thu, 7 Mar 2013 01:22:39 EST Boo Hoo Water For some reason I cannot drink water when I am suposta. I use to drink water all day every day. And I drink non-sweetened tea all day long, but for some reason I cannot brink myself to drink the water I need to. Tue, 5 Mar 2013 07:41:23 EST Self-Esteem How do you build your self-esteem up on days when you are ready to give up and walk away? What do you do to tell yourself you are a winner and to keep going?

I often remind myself how I felt and how I feel and that does it for me. But sometimes I need to remember I am with the man I am due to lifestyle changes. I have the friends I do, do to changes. I am as positive as I am due to changes. And I want the life I want due tot he changes! Tue, 5 Mar 2013 07:32:33 EST My new world of healthy living. Hi I am Andrea and I am doing this for the first time. I went dancing at the bar the other day, and as far as I can surmise I burned a lot of calories. Stayed fairly energetic throughout a three hour time frame, with short breaks. how many calories do you think I burned? And do you think it's a good idea?
My opinion is that is a fun way to burn, but best if you're not going to judge yourself afterwards, and not looking for guys, but fun. I am excited to be a member of this group!

A little about me, well I've tried a few different diets here and there but not too successful. Wed, 20 Feb 2013 12:29:11 EST Lower Tummy Pooch For all you girls out there, let's talk about that lower tummy pooch.I feel like mine is HUGE. I don't know if it's bloat, or just big, or untoned muscle, or a combination of the three. I've been trying to test my bloat theory by eliminating some carbs from my life. And I still don't notice a difference. What do you girls do about your lower tummy, can anyone help a girl out?! Wed, 13 Feb 2013 15:45:18 EST Strength Training I'd really like to add some more serious strength training to my fitness routine. I'd really like to get toned and build some muscle. Does anyone have a strength training that they did and worked, or have any ideas? I'm kinda clueless in this area of fitness for women.

Thanks! I've been struggling with what exercises to do, because I feel like it is too easy to burn my 460 calories and I feel like I'm not working myself. Does anybody have any similar guidelines that they follow? What do you do to stay within your calorie/week budget? Sun, 10 Feb 2013 16:05:14 EST already losing my motivation What do you guys do to keep your motivation up?

I've just been feeling lately like my body isn't changing. I keep trying to tone up and still lose some inches, but I feel like nothing is changing. My boyfriend asked me if I lost weight the other day when we were on Skype, but when I look at myself, I actually feel like I look bigger. I'm starting to think I have a real problem with bloat.

Has anybody else ever felt this way and can help a girl out?? I average about 30 g per day, and on a day where I really try to cram it in, I still only get like 55 g. Are there any that taste better than others, have more protein, cheaper? thanks!
