Wed, 3 Jun 2009 22:40:01 EST Just got back from the movie. . . and I was blown away! In the span of 5 minutes I cried and laughed. I think all of the actors captured the essence of the original cast with their own spin, the alternate time line was explained adequately, and they included a lot of fan shout-outs, including a red shirt moment. I don't know that it will capture new fans (other then kids whose parents would have made them fans anyway), but at the very least it should make the fans happy. It's not "The Incredibles" or even "Star Wars: The Clone Wars"; nevertheless it's still pretty good.

The only series which didn't excite me was Voyager. Sat, 28 Feb 2009 00:28:02 EST Could us fans bring about a New Animated Series? ST The Animated Series aired for only a breif time with their half hour episodes. The reveiews suggested that the venture did rather poorly due to their product being too far over the heads of their cartoon audience. Although many episodes were created from the same stories submitted for TOS and many of the same writers, AND most all of the original cast voiced The Animated series as well, it never experienced the same phenomenal sindication that TOS did.
But cartoon enthusiants...
