...and Monday's scale wasn't very pretty LOL! I always see a temporary increase after:
1. lots of exercise (water retention)
2. lots of good potluck food (salt, a cold beer, and a few extra treats)
3. following the above with a day of sitting while traveling.

After 2-3 days I will be back down again. The important question is: will I then be lower than last weeks' average?! Time will tell!!

As for me... sort of a "meh week"... I'm back down, but not really dropping much towards my goal. This weekend brings another camping/trial work trip, so we'll see how next week is!

Thanks for the reminder! I need to pay closer attention to my calories the rest of this week... My weight is back down below last week's range now, so my challenge is to get it to drop more. If I stay focused, I can do this!!

Its a good thing that exercise doesn't dictate weight loss... it helps, but.... I donated blood on Wednesday, and haven't done my usual amount. Perhaps back to a bike ride tomorrow!

Hope everyone is looking forward to a good weekend. Quiet one around here....

Havent been exercising much this week but my eating has been great no going over my calorie count. So this week I want to at least walk more steps and add in some exercise.

Great to see so many folks deciding to challenge themselves this month! Summer is so "out of sync" for many of us that its difficult to really pay attention and chip away at it.

A great example is my weekly average is up again. I did some challenging hiking and helped build a trail bridge this last weekend.... I'm thinking "ah yes, water retention--I'm sore" when my scale was at 139.5 when I returned home. We also enjoyed some good wine and extra treats in celebration, and with no regrets!! I am back on course though, and will keep right at it. Wishing everyone a successful week.
