Wow---everyone is knocking this out of the park!! WAY TO GO!!

I'm a tad slower, but headed the right direction. The last four days average is even a little lower, but I will stick to posting my 7 day average. And, on to July!!

Just for the fun of it: I tallied up our reported Total Lost: 19.4 lbs for 6 of us, and there are a few yet to report. If we collectively keep this up, will we affect the planets' rotation eventually??? What happens to the "weight" we've lost? LOL

My goal was to lose 5 lbs in June. and for the first time in about 2 years I have FINALLY succeeded in losing 5 lbs WOW! Now if I can do this again next month then I can start maintaining! so so happy, must keep focused on restricting my calories to under 1400 each and ever day! it's the only way that works for me. Note to self. exercise all the time and eat clean and low cal no ifs, ands, or ''I deserve...''

Hi all. I don't know if I can lose 2 before the end of the month but to go down any would be good since I gained back 5 pounds I lost recently! Hoping this will get me back on track. It's been a hard year so far.

30 Jun: 154.8 I have to do better in July!

Bad week 158.5...if I wait till morning I will probably loose that .5 lbs...but that's just not my way. Tour much going on at my house and it's to easy to much whatever is close! Darn it!

We are trying to restart an old team. Most the team members have been together for quite a while. We have room for a few more if anyone is interested.

We are about to start a quarterly 12 week challenge for July - Aug - Sept.

Its never cheating to want to track what you are accomplishing!! We have other folks who join in middle of the month, or choose this thread to track losses of over 5lbs. So I would say WooHoo for you for what you've already done, wish you continued success. Welcome along!!

emoticon emoticon Looks like everyone is experiencing progress! I think what it is about this "challenge" is that we only aim for small changes. When the goal isn't overwhelming, its less daunting to look at decisions and encourage ourselves with the small successes....

Way To Go Ma D!! LOL--- I always imagine it off my stomach emoticon

Many years ago I was a member of a small weight loss group based around the Prism diet. After our second 8 week run, the leader asked us each to bring in food for donation to a shelter that equaled the weight we had taken off---quite an eye opener!! And the shelter was very grateful for that mound of good food....

I agree: eating right and doing exercise changes the focus to being healthy instead of all the drama associated with "losing weight". And "Being Healthy" is really the master goal...the real reason why many of us need to "lose weight"!! Keeping this perspective has made this Journey a Way of Life for me.

I am delighted to report that I have lost 2 pounds so far this month. I look forward to see if any more will come off. But am learning that as long as I am eating right and doing some exercise I can live with the numbers!!
