BLC35 - FALL ROUND

We are the BIGGEST LOSER CHALLENGE getting ready for our 35th Round...More fondly referred to as the BLC!

We will Supply you the Tools to Help Keep Your FOCUS and Working toward Your Goals of Better Health and Wellness in 2017.

This is a 12 Week Challenge Comprised of about 18 TEAMS, made up of approximately 20 - 25 Challengers per TEAM. Our SUMMER CAMP runs for 8 weeks.

We Recognize Our Weekly TEAM BIGGEST LOSERS. Results of ALL Challengers posted Every Week so you can Track your Own Progress and that of your TEAM.

I agree with what others say - when you are part of a group (small enough you get to kno others) and everyone is talking about what they are doing to lose weight it also motivates us to do what's helps us lose weight.

Not sure what creates weight loss for you? There is a lot of knowledge from people who are successfully losing weight,

Want to do fun things that encourage you to do weight loss tasks - there are teams that do that.
Want to have more say and do things "your way" -there are teams that do that.
Need challenges for weekends when we can undo all the hard work of the week but not during the weekdays as you have that down - there are teams that do that.
Need challenges every day of the week to keep you pushing - there are teams that do that.

We are btwn Challenges. I am watching some Food and Health Documentaries like Food Matters - For the Health of It - Plant Pure Nation. There are several Doc's out there. If you don't think your eating habits need changing watch a couple of those. We still have choices in our healthy life styles. Blc will help you make those changes. There is still time to join in.

I tried several teams and challenge teams (large ones and small ones) in sparkpeople and I like BLC the best.

1) The teams are small enough to get to know people and yet not feel lost (20-30 people).

2) While all the teams will help someone lose weight, they all have different flavors - lots of support or less support, strong accountability or more just encouragement, lots of variety and fun challenges or some you have some or a lot of say to set your own challenges, some focus on how to balance your life to make time for weight loss while others push you to do the challenges and many types in-between.

3) There is also diversity in leadership style - are you more shy? do you like to chat with your group? Are you pushing for more unprocessed food? Do you like racking up your fitness minutes? Pick a team that reflects your style. Note: Admin and Captains welcome questions to learn more about the specific teams.

4) The challenge continues [forever]. So do a round, then do another round. Some teams offer challenges during the break between rounds, some members take a break to focus on other areas of their life while others keep pushing so they continue to lose or at least don't gain between rounds. You can sit out a round if you need to/want to. BLC offers a place you can always sign up for challenges.
