I always hated to weight myself, afraid of gaining more weight. Then, last july I purchased myself one of those electronics scales and I just love it. I weight myself every saturday morning just after showering. It makes me think that undressed I am closer to myh real weight. Since then, I have lost over 35 pound. I joined SP last february and I just love it.

I find that if I weigh in everyday I become obsessed and beat myself up all day if I have gained or not lost anything. Plus if I do it in the morning and have not lost I will weigh myself at least twice more throughout the day.
For me I have to force myself NOT to weigh myself everyday.... its just no mentally healthy for me

iT DOES NOT WORK FOR ME. I USUALLY DO IT EVERY SATURDAY, BUT SOMETIMES I HAVE TO WAIT UP TO TEN DAYS TO SEE RESULTS. I TAKE THYROID MEDICINE SO IT IS VERY DIFFICULT FOR ME TO GHROW AWAY WEIGHT, HOWEVER, THIS IS REALLY WORKING FOR ME (SP)

I already know I will indulge a little on the weekend. My hubby and I usually go out to eat for date night on the weekend, and I want to enjoy whatever we get. We always share an entre, so I don't go WAY over. But, none-the-less, I am sure to be over a little. I don't want to beat myself up about it. So I give myself the week be "be good" and weigh then.

Last week I lost 1 pound. Not a huge weight loss by any stretch, but I didn't get as much exercise as I wanted to get either. Hopefully I will do better on that front this week! My goal is to loose 2 pounds this week!

I weigh in every day as well, but only record one per week on Fridays. I weight in the mornings, right after I get up, in the buff. That is when I am the lightest through the day. I read an article awhile back that said that one study showed that people who weighed every day lost more weight than those who didn't. But some people get stressed by it and it causes them to be discouraged. For me, weighing every day lets me know where I am so I know if I need to be extra strick on my eating for a day or two or if I can afford a little (very little) splurge.
