Procrastination has always been a biggy for me!! And you're right: when I stick to my Spark plan, everything else seems to go smoothly!!! I think it's a combination of "being in control" and "being accountable" for what you do and that it gives results... And also the fact that when we eat better and exercise, we do feel a lot more energized and relaxed - which helps a lot in every area of our life!!

It's hard work, but as you said it's worth it. My main problem I always procrastinate and then I have tones of work and studying to do in a little time. I really must change this! I know that if I can stick to my diet plan I'll soon have also this problem under control.

Today: 177,4!!

Well... my weight went up almost 3 pounds this morning!!! I know it's not "real" weight (fat), but I also know that I was over my calorie limit quite a few times since a week or two... maybe it's beginning to show on the scale!! I am within my calorie limit today (which is good... phew!)

METKEC: I have my final exam and term paper next week and I am a little behind in my homework for this week... So tonight=homework, Tuesday=class, Wed.=homework and Thursday=class... and then the weekend=study for final exam and write term paper... So I don't know if this helps, but your not alone!!!! ; - ) It's not easy to study this time of year!! I feel more like going outside than staying in to study!! But it's worth it of course and I love it. I hope you feel the same. Good luck with your exam!

I know how you feel- I wish I could do the same. Although I am losing with a few minor setbacks. I am sticking to the diet so that's a major plus. All you guys are doing the tae bo thing and boot camp workouts. I have decided to do the slow ones which seem to work great for me to lose. Slower with more repetitions is what I was always taught to do to lose weight.I use the biggest loser workouts and the old Richard Simmons tapes. I use to workout with Richard everyday and kept the weight off. So I have decided to go back to them and try again.

I can't believe my weight is so low! 174.8! I've been eating way too much during the last week to lose weight! Every day I was over my upper calorie limit!

And today... well, one of the worst days in two months!! I indulged two of my worst cravings (wine and white bread!), which I haven't done in a long time!! I feel Iike a "bread-aholic"!!! Once I start eating it, I can't stop!! I thought I could control myself, but it seems I can't! I ate the WHOLE baguette!! So OK, no bread for me until further notice!!

well last week was the time of month so i've decided not to be very stressed abt it lol so not considering that week, even at today's weight i'll be 1 lb down since the last official measurement (Friday 2 weeks ago). this Friday when i weight in i was 1 lb lighter than today but i talked to my former trainer and he told me chances are this is b/c i started Tae BO which is a lot different than walking

today..i am starting Belly Dancing...yey!

Today: 223,96 lbs (101,8 kg). Woohoo, the lowest weight recorded this year - I'm so happy!!!

Cristina, since when have you been recording gains in weight? If it is only for last couple of days, don't worry - the most important is the change in 1 weeks time. I'm sure this are just daily fluctuations. Many hugs for you!

June 11th: 69 kg or 152.12 lbs

ok either i ate all the wrong foods these days (Though was under the range 2 days) or Tae bo is starting to build muscles on me and hence the aparent weight gain...

i am not going to freak out...yet! i went frm walking to doing Tae Bo and using the dumbbells so yes it should mean i changed my workout routine. i updated my diet goals so that i know to eat enought food...hmmm...what is wrong wt the picture? and don't ask abt water! i can drink 6 glasses a day ...don't make me live in the bathroom!

Hi all! I also step on the scale daily and I report it on Sparks. I like to have a look at the graph Sparks makes with the numbers I enter. I can see my eating patterns and also, the progress I make in the long run!!!

I think the daily weigh-in also remind me that I'm in charge of my own body... I mean, I can lose control once in a while, but certainly not every day!!

I like tae bo and it really give fast resoults. Beside this it's so addictive.:) I mainly do Boot camp.

In 2 weeks time I'll start working in shop with sports nutritions - so muscles will be apreciated. This job also gives me motivation to be as healthier and fit as I can be.

since u r doing tae bo u'll see results in no time. heck i've lost 2 cm frm my thighs in like 3 days doing tae bo...or probably it had something to do with the total 7 kg loss lol lol lol

yeah if u have muscles u might weight more but look slimmer. ppl already ask me "oh r u 60 kg now?"...I seem to forget to answer though. i wonder what they'll ask when i'll weigh 60 "oh have u dissapeared?" LOL

My friend is same hight as I am and she is 65 kg - she looks hot. I hope I'll look hot too. (LOL) I'm not so obssesed about weight (well, now that I'm obese yes) - for me the most important is physical appearence. My good friend is 175 cm and she looks now, that she has 70 kg, better then when she had 60 kg. It's important the body frame and how much muscles you have. I want to have some muscles - don't want to look like pudding.

nice goal..probably for your hight anything between 59 and 65 would be quite ok :) did u check the ideal weight charts? for me the weight should me between 49 and 62 *those are KG!* LOL however my doctor told me that due to my bone structure i'd be very well around 60 kg anyway!:)

used to be 65 kg for years though

Cristina, I agree. Hehe, same happened to me. America is not used to kg's.

My ultimate goal is 60 kg or when I'll be satisfied with the image in the mirror. :) I know I have high expectations and goals, but I know I can reach them. I'm determinated!

~Metka~, h3h3h3 another kilo girl ;) i also have the weight in kiloes. i think SP should mention somewhere that the lower numbers are kg not lbs!:) someone even posed in the Cafe threads that they r worried abt these small numbers lol

currently I weigh 68.5 kg and i am 158 cm ;)
what's ur ultimate goal? mine is between 60 and 55 kg

Hehe, my weight in the tracker is in kg's - you multiply with 2,2 and you will get lbs. :) 77 kg is 150 lbs (this is my goal for this year). I'm 168 cm tall.

Hi. May I join too? I weigh in every day too. It keeps me motivated and tells me, whether I'm going on right direction. I don't get discouraged with + on the scale, because I know weight can fluctuate daily. I use Excell too. I noticed that in the past since I didn't weigh in every day anymore, I started gaining weight and realised when it was "too late".

It really works great because you can look back at all of the months progress on 1 sheet. My charts hold about 13 weeks.

Yep, I know most people say not to weigh daily. But it helps me to stay on track. I think it's really an individual thing. I like the excel idea too.

i seem to be a total blonde when it comes to measurements. if i am not measured by someone else i never manage to do it right...so i have my fiance measure me each month. yesterday i was happy to realise my thighs finally are smaller...yupppyyy...

I also use a spreadsheet for tracking progress- once a week I weigh in and measure. I have a chart I made up with every measurement from my upper chest all the way down to my ankles- 15 different measurements in all. I have a goal in mind on the sheet and then each weeks date and note what I have lost or gained, how much lost to date and how much I still need to lose. I usually go up and down on weight but I lose the inches-hence that muscle does weigh more than fat,

I also am a scale addict. If I don't, I trick myself into thinking I'm gaining ground (no pun intended) so I need something to keep me in check daily. It does depress me at times to see a gain or no loss, but having to post it here daily will also help. I officially weigh in on Fridays and Tuesdays. I like the Excel spreadsheet idea. emoticon

i step on the scale each morning after i use the bathroom and always naked. however, the official weigh in days are Friday and Monday and those i use for reference here on site for challanges. in my Excel chart i input the daily weight.

now, it's recommended to weigh in once a week only b/c the weight can vary frm day to day b/c of many factors.

I was always under the understanding that you should only weigh yourself once a week and at the same time with the same clothes on. What is correct? I personally step on the scale every morning before dressing but only track the weight once a week and measure myself once a week too.

Welcome Cristina. A couple of years ago, this really helped me to see how I lose weight. It also taught me not to get upset by days I don't lose or go up, because over the long term I was going down. Now why I stopped getting on the scale, I don't know. I'm having to start all over again because I gained my weight back.
