A handful of pretzels and then a smoothie with blueberries, pea protein, almond milk and Swiss chard. Swiss chard is weird I know but it was the only greens I had.

First morning snack was 2 pieces of homemade, wholegrain toast topped with natural almond butter and salt, along with 2 tangerines.

Second morning snack was 8g of roasted almonds and a small apple.

Afternoon snack was some diced apples and cranberries baked with cinnamon and ginger then mixed with homemade plain yogurt, natural peanut butter, and sunflower seeds.

Evening snack will be some homemade fruit crisp (apples, pears, plums, blueberries, and cranberries topped with a streusel of almond flour, chopped walnuts, flaxseed meal, cinnamon, ground ginger, salt, and butter).

Keeping in mind that I maintain at an average of 2250 calories per day and eat every 2 to 3 hours, my snacks are sized more like meals:

First morning snack was 2 pieces of homemade, wholegrain toast topped with natural almond butter and homemade apple butter, along with 2 tangerines. I usually have a hard-boiled egg or a couple of slices of roast beef with this, but wasn't that hungry this morning.

Second morning snack was 40g of mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, pecans, macadamias).

Afternoon snack will be some diced apples baked with cinnamon and ginger then mixed with homemade plain yogurt, natural peanut butter, and sunflower seeds.

Evening snack will likely be more homemade plain yogurt mixed with plain cocoa powder and some sliced fresh strawberries, and maybe a 10g square of 90% dark chocolate later on.
