Michelle - a reaction to a certain food/ingredient is very individual.

I buy the plain riced cauliflower and roast it with seasonings. I use it as taco filling.

(I don't use the tahini sauce in this...just the beans and roasted cauliflower).

I bought the trader joe's version and I guess its the texture I like. It is only 20 calories per 3/4 c so I eat a cup of it. I put some garlic salt with it and a couple sprays of spray butter.

"The ingredients for the Herb flavor are: Cauliflower, Water, Sunflower Oil, Zucchini, Onion, Sea Salt, Garlic, Cornstarch, Parsley, Spices, Turmeric.

I don't see anything problematic. Sure you might be able to make something similar yourself and control the ingredients better, but I still think this is a pretty good quick option to keep in the freezer."

I avoid cornstarch, even in trace amounts. I find it "problematic" based on my body's response. To each his own.

I usually just grate a few florets of cauliflower and add that to my sautéed vegetables. It’s super easy and cheap.

The birds eye plain riced cauliflower might be a better option. Ingredients - cauliflower, salt

I would be more concerned about the ingredients.

Sounds tasty! If you wanted to reduce the sodium per serving without too much extra effort, you could also prepare a bag of plain cauliflower rice and mix them together.

I haven't tried this on it's own. I tend to mix the cauliflower rice in with recipes in place of regular rice or just to bulk it up. Tasty!

Sodium that high makes it a no-go for me.
I stay around 1500.
Making my own allows me to control the salt content. Riced cauliflower is very easy to make.

The only thing you might want to look out for is the sodium, which tends to be high in frozen/packaged items. But if you have no specific reason to be watching your sodium and your overall diet is balanced it shouldn't really be an issue, more of just something to be aware of! If you like it and it gets you to eat more veggies that's great! :)
