Don't feel guilty. You made a decision & that's fine. We have to live.

Just remember who you're cheating when you cheat and that'll help you tone down those portions as the others suggest. Enjoy!

I agree with LadyStarwind. Do not skip your morning/lunch meals. Eat healthily, get a little walk in and no reason not to enjoy Valentines Day. Part of living our lives is enjoying special moments. I plan to have a glass of wine and a nice dinner myself.

Suggestion: Enjoy your evening meal...but DON'T skimp on breakfast or skip lunch!!

That's just setting yourself up to overindulge on your great dinner (think the potato, wine, pie, etc...) You can certainly enjoy each of those without trying to eat a whole day's worth of calories at one time--LOL

Just make sure your brkfst and lunch includes some good protein, healthy fat and veggies for the day---then you know your nutritional needs have already been met to a large extent. HAPPY VALENTINE'S DAY!

It was my birthday recently. I ate cake and ice cream and chocolate covered caramel thingies and had pizza.

I did not feel the least bit guilty! (I did feel mildly unwell, however LOL)

I need a reward - it's Valentines day tomorrow so I'm breaking all the rules for one day. Small tenderloin bacon wrapped steak, boiled shrimp w/ hot sauce, twice baked potato (w/ bacon, cheese & green onion ) with sour cream and asparagus. Oh and some big garlic stuffed olives and home made peach pie for dessert. Oh ya - some beer and wine as well.

On the good side - only a banana for breakfast and am skipping lunch.

I will feel really guilty - but not for long.

Old enough to know better. Young enough to do it again. Crazy enough to try
