Hubby wanted sloppy joes. But instead of a 200 cal, 38 g carb bun, I put mine on an iceberg lettuce salad with cucumbers, orange peppers, radishes, tomatoes, carrots, onions and great northern beans. Quite filling and very tasty.
Making traditional Thanksgiving meal - fruit and veggie tray, salad, turkey, sweet potatoes, mashed potatoes, lightened up and healthy fresh green bean casserole, rolls. And Dutch apple pie and pumpkin pie for dessert.
I plan to eats lots of veggies, salad and turkey, and have small portions of the potatoes and green beans. And a small slice of pumpkin pie. And of course wine.
