We had roasted broccoli with garlic, plus salad and totally delicious BLTs on Trader Joe's reduced-carb tortillas. I have to put in a plug for these TJ low-carb tortillas -- they are amazing. I don't miss bread AT ALL. They are only about 4 carbs per tortilla. You put them on a hot cast-iron pan on both sides -- no grease necessary -- until they get brown spots and get a little crisper (but not so crisp that you can't fold them into a taco-like sandwich.) The rest of the BLT is just 1 or 1.5 strips of turkey bacon with lots of tomatoes and lettuce and not stinting on the mayo. Totally satisfying. We also have been making other kinds of sandwiches and fantastic quesadillas with these. (I hope Trader Joe's keeps selling them! In Los Angeles recently the stores weren't stocking them anymore, but we have them in New York.)

Prior Planning Prevents Poor Performance!


2017 and I am back again... up and down the same 5 lbs, this time on the higher side of 200, depressing since I had stayed just under 200 for almost a year.
Slim is where I wanted to be in 201 & 2011! Never happened, plateaued for a long time and gave up... got off track, but never left, so am back on track again!!! Make 2012 my year! So far, did finally lose 25 lbs. over the summer, but have found about 11 of it so far, it didn't hide g
