1 cup brown rice 4 oz chicken (breaded with 1 T seasoned breadcrumbs and 1/4 T olive oil) 1/2 cup marinara sauce A salad & 1 cup of coconut/almond milk. 600 calories....perfectly in the middle of my calorie range today! Yeah!

We didn't eat yet, but mamma bear will have regular burgers and I will have a coupla veggie options. One I have had (Morning Star black bean burgers) I have had and they are delish. The other is another Morning star product called "veggie burger" that I have never had but will report back on. I HAVE had grillers and am not fond of them, tough they will fill the spot in a pinch, life is too short to eat food you do not enjoy. The turkey burgs I used to like aren't available at BJs any more and the Harvestland ones they do have aren't as appealing.

Cocktail shrimp on a seven ingredient salad. Light blue cheese/yogurt dressing. (My wife has Lebanese ancestry and tells me a Lebanese salad always has to have seven ingredients in it.) I learned that though that wasn't necessarily true, my wife is the one who likes seven ingredients in her salad. So I try to comply. Glenn
