Actually for a change today I'm going to splurge a little at lunch and have the vegetable quesadilla they make there, complete with salsa and guacamole. Hold the sour cream. (Breakfast and dinner will both be small.)


Working on healthy: Nutritious, sustainable, day to day, low carb-ish living. AND getting out and about and exercising... Yep, better do that!

Campbell's Southwestern Veggie soup w/ an extra 1/2 cup rinsed black beans
chopped veggies and vidalia onion dip (found this AWESOME container at Jewel that holds dip in the middle and you can fill the outside with veggies and because I'm lazy I bought a party platter of veggies which TOTALLY worked)

I'm travelling from Adelaide to Melbourne today, on the Overland train & I brought some lunch from the buffet carriage

* A gourmet vegetarian wrap
According to the packaging, it contained flat bread, lettuce, sun-dried tomato, feta cheese, kalamata olives, cucumber, capsicum & french vinaigrette
* 1 can of diet coke

I made a wrap - sauteed green pepper, onion, roast beef (Deli Select ultra thin 4 slices) with a light sprinkle of weight watchers shredded 4 cheese blend. I put this in a low carb whole wheat wrap. Very yummy! I used cold pressed sunflower oil as the sautee and sauce for the sandwhich.

A 1/2C of brown rice with a 1/2C of peas and a can of spicy Thai chili tuna. I was still hungry and craving something sweet afterwards so I took a 1/4C of the kids Kraft Dinner - it satisfied the craving and didn't put me over by a whole lot.
