My "yucky smoothi" as my girls call it!! Its lactose free milk, spinach, 1/2 banana (only way I can eat them and any more then a 1/2 and I can't eat it) and strawberries (fresh, but I froze them so they mix better).
and 1/2 cup grits.

I know that this isn't what you probably want to hear, but I had a slice of homemade German Chocolate cake with a glass of nonfat milk for breakfast today. However, let me explain! My youngest son is home from college. One of his good friends, who is going to college to learn how to become a chef, came by and made me my favorite cake from scratch! No one had ever done that for me before! I felt like I had died and gone to Heaven, because the cake was that good! I think that everything in MODERATION is fine for my lifestyle. After all, food should be enjoyed in life. It should not be something that I should feel guilty about eating. I ate it, I enjoyed it, and I just have to balance it out with healthier choices. In other words, I have to control it and not let it (food) control me.

I am seriously pumped. I just had a spinach and fruit smoothie (2 C spinach, 1 C frozen fruit - mixture of strawberries, blueberries and peaches - 1 banana, and 3/4 C water). 205 calories and I've just had 2 servings of veggies and 2 servings of fruit!
(BTW - you can't taste the spinach.)

Vanilla Slim-Fast. I know, I know. I have so much from when I was using it for 2 meals a day. I don't want it to go to waste. I'll have one for breakfast, and I'm usually fine until my morning snack. I should be rid of it in the next few weeks!!

This is a regular for me.

Hello There.

I go on walks. Really LONG ones. I am an insomniac.

10-15 kms. What would be best for me to eat before I leave. Sometimes I have felt faint while on one such walks.

Right now, at 345AM, I am having

1. a roti, (Indian flat Bread)
2. half catori dal, (100% protein)
3. half cube Amul cheese,
4. 1 Table spoon of VERY HOT Chilli Garlic Spread and
5. one glass of full fat 3.5% milk with
6. 2 tea spoons of Nescafe Select.

I will start at 4:30 ish and carry a 1.5 litre water bottle with some salt and Glucon-d in it.

What do you say?

I am already wearing size 34 (from 38, last year) jeans and want to get in 32 before my coming Birthday. (bit.ly/RaPuShu )
