Is this a definition of persistence? At least my 3rd time. But my first using premium coaching and I am finding it makes a difference. Plus I am making the choices and doing the tasks that move me from diet to a new lifestyle.

I started over on Sunday. I also purchased the upgraded plan. One day at a time. there are so many success stories and I know I can be one of them. Determination, prayer and not giving up if/when I mess up. I wish you success!

I have started Spark once again but this time with the Premium upgrade. I have a renewed sense of self with some major changes to my life. I started a new job, gave up diet soda, which is huge for me and set goals to be accountable for. Spring forward, why not. I may have lost an hour sleep but gained a day to call my new beginning.

I too have signed up for Premium recently. I did a trial period with a different program and hated it. The messages were constant, cloying, and mostly canned. It was also very expensive. I really like that with premium I am the one to reach out if I want tips, advice, community. I like being treated like an adult. And I have a soft spot in my heart for SparkPeople - I've made some good online friends here.
I gained weight this past fall when our younger daughter-in-law had a difficult pregnancy resulting in 8 weeks in the hospital. Everyone is fine now, but I stopped exercising, spending lots of extra time caring for their two year old and making sure he got to the hospital to see momma while poppa was at work. And I ate poorly too. Right now I just want to get back to my previous level of overweightedness! Then I want to keep going so I am around a long time to enjoy my two grandsons and all the rest of my life!

I have just signed up for Premium SP as well as so far I like the additional features. I was just doing the regular and wanted more. I love being able to email a coach once a week and the added workouts are great.

I restarted again as well. I did the program a couple of years ago and stopped the weight gain that I was doing 10 lbs and year but this time I hope to actually lose weight. I really want to connect with people having the same issues and hope to learn not only from the coaches but from others having the same troubles.

I, too, have restarted, Sindura. I started back on SP about 2 months ago but restarted Premium coaching yesterday. This is the first time I have actually been following the program almost completely. I exercise almost daily, practice portion control, and eat healthy snacks.

We are at my daughter's for about 4 or 5 weeks and it is proving a little difficult, but I am determined not to fail. I don't have access to a pool daily, which is how I did my exercise, but I am trying other things. I'm going to go look for a YMCA also. My daughter said there is one about 15 minutes away.

Good luck to you! I wish you much success!

I also have signed up for the Spark premium program. Been a Spark subscriber for years but due to health and mobility issues I have not followed the program for several years so gained back all my progress and then some. More and different health issues have woken me up to how important it is to care about ourselves on a daily basis. So I am back and i am gonna take back my health or at least not work against myself. emoticon

Me too! I was trying some other programs and the monthly cost was so high... Spark Premium is a deal in comparison. I am at least giving it a try.

Welcome back Sing_Loud! I noticed a healthful hint you gave about varying our caloric ranges. I have heard it before but it made more of an Impact reading your statement. Thank you!

I am going to try the premium, hopefully this time I can actually succeed. We moved back to my hometown last year and I started working at our local animal shelter in January. When I started I weighed 290 lbs by March I was down to 280 and by June I was down to 269. I was getting over 12,000 steps a day. I was a kennel tech so my activity level was super high. I had to leave the job because my right elbow developed tendinitis due to overuse because of a cat bite injury in Feb I had to use just my right arm.. Well here I am in Sept and I have gained all that weight back. UGH !! So I am gonna start all over again, this time using the Spark People Premium. I tried to go on a beginner hike with my family that was only about 2 miles long but it wore me out and I passed out because we forgot to bring water and the temps were in the 100's.
