I don't eat bread so when I crave pizza I make a plate with sliced mozzerella sprinkled with dry basil and top it with pizza sauce. Then microwave until it is gooey and it taste so good. Like the topping of the pizza without the crust.

Pizza with pepperoni, green peppers and onions. I make sure, that I eat a veggie packed salad. That way, I only have one slice and satisfy my craving. Had a good nutritionist one time who told me if you didn't give into your cravings you often end up eating more to try and satisfy it. You just have to be rational about it and not go whole hog. However, In the event you do, forgive yourself and move on!
I make a pizza omelet for breakfast using turkey pepperoni (only 4 or 5 slices), a couple of handfuls of organic baby spinach, some diced red onion, 1 oz mozzarella cheese and red pepper flakes. Oh and of course egg (I do one whole egg and 1/4 - 1/2 cup egg whites) I call it Pizza for Breakfast Omelet
I'm not there yet, but I'm closer than I was yersterday.
I buy a ready made healthy frozen pizza. I live in Canada and most healthy packaged foods made by different brands all have a light blue label so you know they are made healthier. The blue label pizza has vegetables, no meat & goat cheese, low sodium, low fat, thin crust & healthier then other thin crust pizza and 220 calories per. slice and cost $3.49 and is medium size. I eat 1/2 of the pizza, my calories vary daily, but the weekly total is the same. I allow myself whatever food I want, ice cream, pizza etc. & calculate it in my diet. It is not daily.
I have pleurisy, 2 types of anemia, macrocytic anemia, Iron deficiency anemia, from blood transfusions with wrong antibodies, causes blood to replace daily instead of 100 days, chronic pneumonia, pleurisy, chronic kidney disease, a partially collapsed lung, low blood pressure & blood clots in both lungs for 3 years. Try an english muffin pizza. Or maybe a low carb "meatza". You can put pizza topping on any flat vegie, ie. zucchini, eggplant, to reduce the calories. Low fat or calorie reduced cheese doesn't taste like cheese to me so I would skip it.
I eat pizza. I've worked so long on my foods & portions that I have a hard time over eating because once I'm full, I'm full. Usually pizza ends up in the fridge available for re-heat.
When I actually have a craving for things I allow myself it eat them- but that's because I am strict on my diet, portions, plan everything in advance and stick with it. so if I need a garbage plate once every 8 months. I eat it.
I am not a big pizza eater but once in a while I want a slice. Stick to one or two slices. Drink water before and after instead of a soda. And go for a 15 to 30 minute walk or do some sort of cardio because if your like me, you'll feel quilty for giving in. This way you burn some calories and feel so bad.
I eat pizza when I'm craving pizza. I just don't eat a whole pizza. I watch my calories for that day and account for the extra I'm going to have by eating pizza. Pizza is one of my favorites and I can't quit it!

I use a low carb flour tortilla (6gms) and brush with olive oil, add garlic & onion powder and stick in oven to get crispy. Then a little tomato sauce, and all the veggies (already steamed or sauted in water) I want. A little meat (turkey pepperoni) and sprinkled cheese. Then back in the oven to get everything hot. My problem with pizza, as with many other recipes is that there is way too much, and if it's there I will eat it. So, an old standby from WW is make your own pizza on a pita and measure out what you can have, ie, onions, tomatoes, peppers, meat or sausage measured and cheese measured... feels so much better, only have our portion

for the last few months the major supermarkets have lowered the price of hot roast chickens to $8 each, so sometimes we buy 1 or 2 of these. I supermarket also sells smoked chickens for $11 each and these make a nice treat to have on standby. Cheers
i use whole wheat pita bread and then I brush a little olive oil on it and then do two cloves of garlic. Then i put on mozzarella cheese on it and what ever toppings I want on it. I do not do red sauce to much
Get a slice or two of pizza and just eat the toppings. This really works for me. Also I make a pizza bake. I take a small baking dish fill it with whatever toppings you like on your pizza. Add in some sauce and too with mozerella cheese and pepperoni so it cooks and tastes like pizza. Both completely get me through my pizza cravings.

I also like homemade whole wheat pizza. Sometimes I make a pita pizza using whole wheat pita. I place on baking sheet and bake for 3-4 minutes. I remove from oven and top with sauce, lots of veggies and some cheese. Return to 400 oven for 6-7 minutes or till cheese is melted. It's like a personal pan size pizza, but I control what goes on it.

I pick a day and work homemade pizza into the menu! I make whole wheat pizza dough at home, weigh it out into portions, and then freeze the extra- makes it really easy to have fresh, healthier pizza, quickly! I prefer veggie pizza, so I load it up with whatever I have on hand and portion out a serving of flavorful cheese (like sharp cheddar or feta) instead of blanketing it with a less flavorful one.

Joseph's Flax Oat Bran and Whole Wheat Lavash bread makes a really good thin crust pizza crust. Cook it on a sheet pan for a minute to start getting it crispy and then top it with your desired toppings. When I'm craving pepperoni I found that taking just a few of them and chopping them into small pieces lets you get that taste and feel of pepperoni in every bit without having to use a lot! The nutrition in the lavash bread is great and they don't taste 'overly healthy/wheaty'.

If I am craving pizza, I usually get a pita bread and toast it and then top it with either tomato sauce, cream cheese, or hummus, and then add veggies and a cut up boca burger. Or sometimes I just top it off with an egg and tomatoes. Yum!

I've done that many times, make English muffin pizzas just like that. Now there are "sandwich thins" on the market. Those might work as well, but the muffins hold the sauce well. I've also sometimes sliced open whole wheat pita breads.

We love pizza at our house!! My youngest son would eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner if he could. We splurge on pizza about once every 3 months - and today is the day. I will have a couple of slices and, of course, my big salad!! And lots and lots of water. barb
I figure the best way to go with pizza is to eat veggie! One of my favorite spark recipes I have the link for below. t's a cold pizza, but the yellow peppers and cherry tomatoes make it really good! Sometimes when you crave something instead of just denying yourself, you might as well try a different healthier version of it. That is what has worked for me.

I cut a whole wheat pita in half, spread with a little spaghetti sauce from the jar (we usually have one in the fridge!), meat/veggies of your choice, lo-fat mozzarella - pop it into a very hot oven for a few minutes. When it comes out, I like to top mine with some arugula tossed with a little olive oil, sprinkle with good, fresh parmesan - so delicious, and certainly hits the spot when craving pizza!

I like the cauliflower crust pizza as well. I omit the cheese in the crust and really squeeze out the cauliflower, (cheese cloth is best I found) I also use dry curd cottage cheese for most of the cheese topping, only adding a few grams of Asiago cheese to the top of the pizza for that intense cheese flavor. I make my own Italian turkey sausage topping out of 99% lean turkey. With these trade-outs, I can take an already low calorie dish and ring it in at around 150 calories for a 6" personal sized pizza.
