I would avoid exercises with jumping. I know those wreak havoc on my body. Swimming might be a good option. Try to build your core, it makes a world of difference.

Have your doctor refer you for physical therapy.

I second the referral to a physical therapist. Any exercises we suggest may cause further harm.

Mild exercise that you can do without pain, but check with your Doc and see if that results in a referral to a therapist. Having said that, the most important thing you can do for your muscles and bones is to lighten the load, so controlling your nutrition is job one. Same thing here, see the Doc and maybe ask for a referral to a Dietician? Stick with it, never quit. Best wishes in meeting those goals!

My back has multiple bad disks and my knees are constantly hurting. What is the best way to improve and build my bodies support system?
