I use the videos to supplement when I don't run outside or want to go to the gym - it's my friend's account. I did just finish the full 8 weeks of the LIIFT4 program and really enjoyed it! Very much strength training heavy as opposed to cardio, but I did get some great definition on my already toned arms and legs, lost 7 inches overall and about 4 pounds. For a super cardio ass kicking I love the Insanity Max 30, so I'm back to subbing that in now that LIIFT4 is done!
I think it can be a great starting point or, as you have found JERF, a great way to regain focus in an already really healthy lifestyle. I know a few people who have done it across the years and the multiple times a day posts that are basically just advertisements are obnoxious.
My Neice became a "coach"...and her enthusiasm lasted abut 3-4 months, and died on the vine so to speak. So I think the total "program" is kind of gimmicky, and beyond the initial excitement, doing this or that *every day* to someone else's script gets in the way after a while.
With your own knowledge of the kind of food and exercise you need though, you can pick and choose from their offerings. I've heard several folks say their exercise programs are pretty good too. Sometimes our ability to refocus on what we need to do can get a boost from exploring other programs! All the best, patti

A friend of mine who's currently doing the 80 Day Obsession gave me her login info and I have been checking out the workouts.
I have been doing - 3 Week Yoga Retreat - and am on Day 5 and - 21 Day Fix - and am on Day 6.
So I do 30 minutes of strength or cardio in the morning and 30 minutes of yoga in the evening. And I desperately need more yoga in my life.
I like that I just show up and she tells me what to do. I have a bunch of the equipment so I don't have to buy anything. There are so many videos to choose from.
I am loosely following the meal plan, no counting calories, no shakes, didn't buy the containers, just measuring portions to the container equivalent and I have changed the number of target containers to better support my active lifestyle.
I like that they really focus on real whole foods. I have not had to change anything in my food prep to accommodate because I already cook using whole single ingredient foods, so I just have to measure.
I know I'm really late to the Beachbody party here! But I have had a few injuries this year and had let my diet slide a bit, gained a few pounds and I am finding Beachbody to be a huge motivator.
Anyone else using Beachbody? There is no activity on the team page.
I am not a coach. LOL!
