Ask if swimming might work for you! Whatever guidance you receive, I urge you to start slower than you think you need to and build even slower than that. I can't tell you how many times I've injured/re-injured myself because I thought I could do more than I could!

Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!

Re-start: 1/2/18, -10 met 1/30, - 20 met 3/27, -25 met 4/18, -30 met 7/4
Next goal: -35 by 8/15

Ditto the coach. First, ask the PT just what you asked here and then ask if you can do any Yoga or it's variants and maybe some easy core videos as well that are just for what you need. Good luck!

Since you are in PT, it would be best to ask your physical therapist for other exercises that would be beneficial since they know your current and past health history, as well as physical limitations.

I am currently in PT to work on strengthening a very weak core.

Exercising is a bit of a challenge since bending too much can really cause a lot of pain.

Does anyone have any ideas for some exercises that may be more beneficial? I know walking is good, but am looking for some variety.
