IMO - the answer to your question is likely "tied up in" hormones & insulin levels. (At least that is what I've come across in my research / study.)

Great article! I joke that I have ADHD because I can’t sit still and always have to be doing something.

My question is...

What makes one persons body want to use the extra energy they intake by moving/fidgiting etc. And another persons body store the extra energy as fat?

Liked the article. We tend to hear the most about diet and exercise when it comes to weight loss, which makes it easy to forget about other important factors like overall activity levels (which are in turn super easy to overestimate).
