We don't have a setting for that, but we recommend setting your program for no more than 1/2-1 lb of weight loss per week, and then add 300-500 calories to the low and high end of your recommended range to account for nursing.

Below are instructions on how to manually edit your nutrition goals.

To edit your calorie or nutrient goals:

1. Roll your mouse over "My Trackers" at the top of the screen.
2. Click on "My Nutrition."
3. You'll now see your Nutrition Tracker page.
4. Scroll to the bottom of your Nutrition Tracker page and click on "Edit Nutrition Goals," which is located under Tools & Settings.
5. You can then edit, remove, or add calorie and nutrient goals and click "Save Your Changes" at the bottom of the page.

Note: Manually changing your calorie range will NOT automatically change your nutrient goals for carbs, fat and protein. They will still be based on the calorie range we provided to you unless you choose to edit them yourself. If you use SparkPeople's meal plans, they will not change based on any manual adjustments (calories or nutrients) you make.

Hope that helps!

I’ve heard that breastfeeding burns extra calories, but how can I tell how much? And how do I keep track of it on the calorie counter SP offers?
