Another questions is: Are you eating enough? In the excitement to get healthy, I wonder if you dropped your calories too low and then ramped up the exercise.

I'd also have the same questions as niteman since those are all factors into how you feel afterwards. What types of exercise have you been doing and for how long?

if i work out in the am, i feel an energy boost later in the day (and after several weeks of consistently working out). it's not an instantaneous jolt (though how nice would that be!)

Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!

I think Niteman has hit the nail on the head. Are you new to exercise? Have you been cleared by your doctor to exercise? Are you trying to do too much too soon?

Are you overdoing the exercise? Are you eating enough calories? Do you have any underlying medical problems?

Everyone I talk to, everything I read says, that once you start exercising, you'll get an energy boost. And not just for the day, but it rolls over. When does that start. I just feel like falling over and not moving after a workout. I'm tired of being tired.
