Interesting visual. Finding my posture is improving with the barre classes because posture is so important.
When I stand up straight my back is straighter (I have scoliosis) so that is my visual to see a straight back.

Persistence is more important than perfection.

that's a good tip! i used to have phenomenal posture from years of dancing and after i stopped (and gained weight), it's not so stellar. i'm also working on strengthening my core and back while trying to remind myself to sit/stand better!

Healthy choices and actions have positive impacts, even if the scale doesn't move!

When I notice my posture is drooping, I pretend there are push-pins in the front of my shoulders. I mental push them back. This brings my shoulder blades closer toward my spine and makes my chin rise. I also feel a bit taller than my 5'6".
