I keep track of strength training using my Google Calendar.
When I complete my circuit for the day, I drag the event 3 days out, and it repeats.
Then I get an email reminder to repeat the circuit about 2 days later.

I have 3 circuits that repeat weekly to exercise different muscle groups.
It works for me.

There are many apps on line that you can try out. If one doesn't work for you, try another until you find one you like.

Thirst can be mistaken for hunger.
You cannot outrun the fork.
The journey never ends.
Exercise is medicine.
Move to Improve.

I'd start here with the videos and TV options. the ones I've done are very good.

Persistence is more important than perfection.

I am a 20 year old just looking to get in shape, like to get ripped, not like Arnold schwarzenegger but I'd like to get good sized arms, triceps, abs and chest.

I don't know where to start though is the problem, have a home gymn, tons of weights and a bench. Is there a good app where I can go on and each day it tells me what to do, like today is abs day so do this many reps of these exercises? How do you other guys know how to get ripped without a personal trainer? help appreciated!
