I still hate exercise, but now I'm addicted. I do the things that I hate the least and in the case of walking, I actually enjoy that. However, in the beginning, I was what you describe... none too enthusiastic. I made a deal with myself that I had to get dressed and do at least a three minute workout. As you describe, I could count on one hand the number of times I only did three minutes. It was almost always twenty minutes or more and these days mostly at least an hour since I've retired. Stick with it, it grows on you. Way to go!

So I wasn't planning on working out today but I saw someone post about SparkPeople videos. I thought I'd check out a little 9 minute boxing vid and figured I might as well do it. Well, the endorphins kicked in so I chose another video, then another and before I knew it I'd got 30 minutes exercise under my belt with 155 calories burnt! I really didn't feel like exercising at all, but those first 9 minutes had a chain reaction - my little SparkPeople videos miracle.
Don't feel exercising? Try doing 9 minutes. Or 5 minutes. Then see what happens 😀
